Deron Williams is arguably the best Point Guard in the league. His most direct competition for the top spot, Chris Paul, has over 1 million followers on twitter. Deron, has approximately 150,000.

Somethings not right here.

Our first goal is to demonstrate to Deron the power of the New York media and the power of his fans. Whether you are tweeting from the state of New Jersey or any of the 5 boroughs, we want you to help us achieve our 1st goal.

Here’s how it will work:

Date: June 17, 2012

Time: 6:00 PM Eastern Time – 8:00 PM Eastern Time

Between the hours listed above on the date listed above, we will introduce ourselves to Deron Williams. Tweet your location or a message to Deron using the hashtag #HelloDeron. We have a 3 hour gap to complete our goal due to the start of the NBA finals. However, if we successfully pull this off, the attention it will grab from the media and basketball fans preparing for Finals coverage will be special. Should we fail, a new time and date will be announced until we can accomplish our goal.

Spread the word. And let’s achieve our 1st goal.

It's funny how people on ND were laughing and joking about getting Dwight and were all supportive of stupid tactics to try and woo him, but something like this is being shunned by ND at large.

Dude the kids that post at ND are the most bi polar psychos I've ever seen.

I go to that site for the news updates and nothing more.

I'm actually embarrassed that I root for the same team as a lot of them.

Quite a few of them still believe the Wallace deal was fine.....

I spent something like 9 hours a few days ago breaking it down for them, I failed

As long as their fearless leader continues to support the deal, the minions will believe it and use backwards logic to "prove" that they were correct.

Exactly. i like that site for news about the nets but the people that post/comment there no nothing.
