Twardzik has a legacy of incompetence dating back to the early nineties. I'd send you a link to the story on him, but I still haven't figured out how to work this site on my phone. Twardzik was the absolute driving force behind the Fran pick. He scouted several of his games, developed a relationship with him, and insisted that we draft him. Was it his fault Fran is a giant bitch? No, not at all. But that whole situation is why a lot of people lost faith in our management. He also picked Joe Smith first overall in 95, and passed on Kobe shortly afterwards.

we would want to fire him because he is the head of the "draft department" and has been doing a god awful job for YEARS, and not just with us. he is responsible for drafting TODD FULLER ahead of kobe, nash, and jermaine oneal just to name a few. he is the ONLY person, LITERALLY, that didn't know that fran wasn't coming... he never interviewed harper or liggins, and we gave up 2 future picks for harper last year... never interviewed him let alone scouted him...

he is a poor excuse for a scout. and needs to be fired.

I'm starting to get depressed about this whole thing. I originally thought it was too long to have a GM 7-10 days before the draft when we had a month to interview. Now, it looks like it might take longer.

You are right, I'm not in the know neither are you. But you are correct about him, I guess I'm just annoyed about a lot of the post and people over reacting to who we should hire, fire and such. Plus, whoever comes in as a GM I'm sure will want to assemble his own team.
