In fact, Magic said it's the loudest arena he's ever been in. I suppose you know more than him though and have visited more arenas.

And please tell me bro. On the Heat forum, WHO CARES??? YOU TEAM DOWN 3-1, DOES IT REALLY MATTER WHO IS THE LOUDEST? THAT'S ALL YOU GOTTA SAY?

On this thread, which happens to be about the intesity fans bring to an arena - yes, that's all I have to say. I'm bragging on our fans, who cares? If the thread were about something else, I wouldn't have even brought it up.

When are you guys raising the 'loudest fans in the nba' banner? Should be the most emotional night in Oklahoma City history.

Awesome.. you guys have the best fans in the world. You guys love your players... so much, that James Harden's twitter was full of death threats after game 4.

Have not heard of such news. I'm sure there's just tons of people in OKC wanting Harden to die. Get real.

Well there's multiple idiots living on this Earth. Shocker. I'm sure the desire for James Harden to die is not one of the 18,203 that regularly attend Thunder games. Your suggestion that our fans want him to die is quite absurd.

Get over it. I made a simple statement. I'm not big and I'm not hiding.

I think every agrees that OKC has the loudest arena. I don't think that is disputed. However, "65%"? LOL How did you possibly come to that percent? Did you have a scientific noise calibrator that you held to the tv for last nights game and compared it against Game 1 or 2?

Like I said, I don't think anyone in the league questions whether you guys win the "lose your voice at a game" award for the season. But maybe...just maybe...we were just as loud last night...for 1 game

I don't agree. Both arenas have reportedly sold out tickets. The Chesapeake Energy Arena has a maximum capacity of 18,203, that's only 92.8% of the AA Arena capacity (19,600). That means OKC fans would have to cheer about 8% louder just to match the AA Arena. Add the baseless 65% stat you handed out, and it puts your suggestion out of the realm of possibility and into the realm of idiocy.

tldr: Your team is down 3-1 in the Finals, but your arena is so loud I can hear fans crying from here

Percentages aside, Ive been to many games in that arena. There are moments (usually playoff games) where it's so loud, it's literally quiet. I experienced firsthand what Kobe Bryant said was possible the loudest crowd he's ever played in front of in his career during the first ever playoff game in OKC 3 years ago. An 8-0 run in a 2 minute span that got OKC back in the game. The "so loud it was quiet" thing came from Collison's interview and it's a very accurate description. It literally rings your ears to the point of it being so deafening its like a hush.

Your team is down 3-1, and the only thing you can hang your pathetic hat on is "our arena is louder"....

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the heat fans on this board were ready to throw in the towel when you guys were down against Boston. Still congrads heat "fans" Lebron is finally getting his ring, suppose it had to happen at some point. Again congrads and it will be interesting to see if you guys can defend the title.

Loud arena usually means crappy acoustics. There is a reason we hosted the VMAs and Staples the Grammys and Cheapskate Arena hosts tractor pulls.
