Germany - 2012 European Champions

I want Italy to win it all but they don't have the team to do so unfortunately. :(

Funny you say this when they just played pretty darn well against Spain.
They definitely should of won against Croatia and played them better than Spain did in a pivotal third group game, their attack is miles better than it was in 08 and 10' , they just need to finish off their chances.

It'll be hilarious if the PIGS nations all progress to the Semis.

I think Portugal, Germany, France and Italy will advance.

BTW: The pairings for the semis will be like this:

Czech Republic/Portugal vs Spain/France
Germany/Greece vs England/Italy

Damn it.

Oh well, Portugal had to score at some point.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

More Portugal girls lead to more shots of hot Portugal women in the crowd. C'mon PORTUGAL!

Cristina scoring and on the brink of semifinals, LeSatan one win away from being a champion with an asterisk. What a crappy month of sports this is.

Portugal wins a boring match vs Czech, who were just listless spectators in the 2nd half. Rui Patricio could have read "War and Peace" in those 45+4 minutes.

Baroš allegedly announced retirement from NT among players in the locker room. About time. It is yet to become official though.

There could be a shakeup in Germany's lineup today.

Many papers report that Klose, Reus and Schürrle will be starting tonight.

Would probably look like that.

---------------------------Neuer----------------------------

-Boateng-----Hummels-----Badstuber-------Lahm-

-------------------Khedira-----Schweinsteiger--------

-Reus-----------------------Özil----------Schürrle------

----------------------------Klose-----------------------------

We'll see...

I also checked, and it seems correct. Holy smoke, Löw sure has guts - no Müller, Podolski and Gomez? You lose quite a chunk of individual class, but then Podolski, Müller and Gomez all thrive in the open field - and struggle vs deep standing defenses. Klose is a better back-to-goal striker than Gomez, and Reus and Schürrle are pure wingers who can outrun and outdribble ppl.

Let's see

Yeah also read that news, they were talking about "resting" those 3 since the others are probably better vs standing defenses like Point Forward said ...

Surprising, but I still expect the 3 of them to play in the possible semi-final and final.

Could all be bogus too, the original article was from Bild, not the most reliable newspaper I think ..
