The NBA ever had a player who shot around 80-85% from the free throw line, without having a great mid range shot? I don't think so. Jonas is an already excellent stand still mid range jump shooter. With a PG like Nash, imagine his development as an offensive player. :o It could be unguardable, pick&roll, pick&pop. Hopefully Steve chooses you guys, i'm really rooting for that.

I don't think Nash will be coming to the Raptors and I don't want him to, I want to see him win a ring.

I love how fired up Jonas gets. I hope he brings that same passion/ energy to the NBA. Fans here will adore him if he does.

Has he been as fired up during the regular season? I don't recall him being so....

You haven't been watching any of his games this year to think that. If you need a refresher, check out the 23 minutes highlight reel of his from this season (link below my sig). His intensity level is always set to maximum.

I've watched plenty of games thank you very much....I'm not talking about his play level I'm talking about the primal KG like screaming.

Well then watch that highlight reel. There is plenty of primal screaming in there.

Jonas is going to be a star. There's very little doubt in my mind. Defensively next to Andrea? That I'm a little dubious on. Still, you win with talent and our immensely intriguing twin-tower duo is about as talented as they come. Most importantly, along with his passion and on court chemistry with his teammates, he really just knows how to play basketball. Watching him vs watching, say, freshman Drummund, it's like night and day. Movement, timing, positioning, post fundamentals, shooting and finishing efficiency, it's all there. Defense will come in time.

Has Jonas gained any height or weight since we've drafted him, because I know that one of his main priorities was to get stronger during his extra season with Rytas.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

Why can't Donut train with the NT? I understand the insurance thing would keep him from playing, but you'd think he'd gain from the experience of working out with the national team and Sabonis.

He's in a top tier camp in Italy... even McHale and the Rockets GM flew over there (with additional staff).

The NT has been doing more physical and conditioning stuff anyway... the basketball practices have been more individual workouts.

He'll play in the summer league

I wonder why they chose to train in Houston of all places.

There are a lot of discussions going on why Donatas Motiejunas isnt playing for NT, but, basically, it might be that he wanted guaranteed minutes and the coach didnt give him :)

And they chose Houston because that was the best offer they received, they could choose some other place (dont remember where) but Houston had the best conditions :)

Return to Toronto Raptors
