I'm still in awe that people keep this trade Dwight-ball rolling. New GM in place, new coach coming, a chance at a pretty decent player in this year's draft, Dwight already losing a lot of suitors and leverage after not waiving his ETO... sure trading Dwight is a possibility, but there are a lot of moves and improvements that need to be explored first.

Hennigan brings a new voice, a new mindset, a new philosophy. How about we wait and see what affect he can bring rather than dwell on a year-old trade demand that even Dwight flip-flopped on?

Considering the fact that part of the criteria that Martins interviewed potential GMs on was scenarios for Dwight trades, I don't think its ludicrous at all to discuss Dwight trades.

I'm sure it was a topic in the interviews. It would have been irresponsible for Martins to conduct the search without seeing what the candidates would do. But ever since the trade demand, the focus of the front office has been to keep Dwight, and despite reports from all these amazingly legit sources, momentum has swung tremendously in the Magic's favor to keep him since last December. I just think it's time for the fan base to start reflecting that.

It is only ludicrous to assume that he is already gone.

Yes. It seems to be down.

Anyway, about Dwight. Only deal, IMO, that makes sense is if it lands us Bynum. Especially after this year, now that Bynum has proven that he can stay healthy. Its a no brainer IMO. Trading the best center for the second best center. And we hire Shaw as cOach too. Allows us to stay competitive with our current roster. As Shaw will likely run the triangle as his main offense, which will likely answer the lack of shot creators for our team.

Cant wait to see what Rob ShenanIgan can pull out his sleeve. Especially if he'll be active on draft day or not.

Bynum is a head case. I want nothing to do with him. In addition, he proved he can survive (1) season, but completely disappeared in the playoff series they lost. He is no-where near Dwights worth. Maybe, Bynum/Gasol/Sessions/Odom TPE for Dwight/Hedo/Duhon. Just maybe that is worth Dwight.

Anyone heard any news about Stan ?

Any teams showing interest in him ?

I haven't heard anything about him since the Magic let him go.

Lol. No one will offer anything close to that package for Dwight. Not unless we hire Stern to run the trade front. Our back is against the wall this year. Theres not another team like New Jersey last year, yet, thathas a star threatening to leave.

Stan doesn't want to coach this year. Plus, there will probably be better jobs next summer (Maybe Lakers, Clippers, etc.)

That's interesting. I wonder how well John Jenkins (J.J.) will do in the NBA and will it take him as long as Redick to become that good.

Stan is still getting paid for this season and will most likely take a year off to recuperate from the Dwightmare.

David Baumann ‏@DavidBaumann33

Talked to @iambigbaby11 about Rob Hennigan & @DwightHoward. Baby: "Why would you go somewhere else when we're building here (toward title)?"

David Baumann ‏@DavidBaumann33

More @iambigbaby11 on @DwightHoward's future: "His heart lies in Orlando. We will have Dwight, if you ask me, in an @Orlando_Magic jersey."

Well Baby's nothing if not confident, we'll see. They are very good friends.
