This reminded me of how good you have to be to be "bad" in the NBA. I was looking to see if he had any kids, and Wikipedia doesn't know about it if he does.
He does. He also married his high school sweet heart.
He 's also been taking courses in broadcasting for a few years in his "spare" time. He presents very well and knows a heck of a lot about the game. I could easily see him calling games one day.
Him and his brother also run a basketball camp in the summers in Philly.
I really think that he and Coach D will get along really, really well. Like Sachmo said, Hammer is a good locker room presence, a vet at the end of his career still working hard - regardless of his crap season last season. Coach D is going to need guys like Hammer to help him transition IMO.
