Because of connections one of Lithuanians former players works for Rockets as scout so he organised facilities for them.

Oh man......I mean, I have no idea whether Sabonis is a good teacher or not, but the fact that Jonas looks to be practicing directly with and against him.....amazing. A top centre prospect working with one of the best Cs of all time? That is absolute gold, and something that everyone has wanted Bargnani to be doing from the very beginning. Fantastic.

Jonas is going to be a star. There's very little doubt in my mind. Defensively next to Andrea? That I'm a little dubious on.

I was just thinking this the other day, but if it turns out bad it will force Colangelo to trade Andrea then. Val is not going anywhere.

Sabonis makes VAL look like everydays Natalie Portman. Guy is a Gigantic. Too bad NBA never witnessed his prime, or at least whatever comes after prime, I mean his NBA years were just a dark sunset.

I think Sabonis just gets bigger over time. He's like a tree.

God damnit is there anything softer in the world than Sabonis hands ? Dude still makes some crazy moves at his age. It's funny how he's still able to strip down Songaila :) And those bullet passes that he makes... damn.

I just hope he doesn't suffer another stroke.

This after heaving a serious heart condition that left him hospitalized not so long ago.

He moves pretty well and his hands are so quick.

He's lost a lot of weight last couple years, looking great, i bet he could still do some work in the NBA.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Was it Rasheed who threw the towel at Sabonis during the huddle? I remember watching that and thinking what an ass.

Hi, please correct if wrong, but I think Lithuania playing tonight, 21:30 I believe (not sure), since game is in states, time is a little bit more appropriate (not much). But I believe we have no visual, I dont know. I bet someone here will have more information on that. #exitedtoseeVALgawddamm

Tonights opponent is Olympic host - Great Britain. And their squad is not that bad - Deng, Archibald, Mensah-Bonsu, Freeland, Sullivan, Reinking and I believe Ben Gordon is in there too.
