Samuel Dalambert gets bought out for $1.5mill you guys want?

This dude is much younger than the likes of Camby and is a legit 6'11 shot blocker. Houston is rebuilding and will probably buy him out with their team option rather than pay him next season. So you guys might be able to get him on the cheap. I think he would help you guys out in the post.

Sources told ESPN.com that Dalembert has agreed to a two-year deal worth $13.7 million -- $7 million this season and $6.7 million in 2012-13. But the Rockets have a team option for the second season that would allow them to buy out of the contract for a fee of $1.5 million.

dont look at him as a long term soulation, look at him as a bigger, much better rebounding Joel. he can be our insurance in case we cant find a young stud, and he's a very good fit with his skillset.

Haha. if you thought LeBron, Wade, Bosh and Spo were always screaming at Chalmers for his bonehead plays, wait until they play with Delembert. Probably as frustrating to watch. He can be so good but so dumb at times.

If he didn't want to come here for a few million last off-season why would he want to now? Even if Miller retires other teams will still be able to offer more. It's clear that guy just wants to get paid.

Sammy strikes me as the kind of player who'd look at a joining a team primed to make a deep playoff run as a bad thing -- just means he has to work extra games for no pay.

I would only take that loser if he takes the minimum. Everyone on our team took less money to be on this team. I don't want a guy that is all about the money,and now that he has no other opportunities, he wants to crawl back.

I bet Kaman or Camby would take a ring chasing discount. I trust those two dudes more than Sammy.

I would like to see us find a way to get either Nash or Ray Ray with Kaman or Camby.

I don't know, I feel back handed by this guy.

he took more money than to be a champion, that says a lot of this guy's character.

I'd rather get Camby. I know this dude is so old, but he has a lot left in the tank still. I think he is an affordable solution.

I'd rather Kamaan, but we have no chance at him unless NOH wants to agree to a s&t with him. I'd take Dalembert over Camby though. Dalembert may be a bonehead sometimes, but has the skillset we need. Plus, he's tough as nails. A big that can start over 70 games a season and play heavy minutes while cleaning the defensive glass and finishing around the rim? That's all we need. Camby is just too old right now. Dalembert would be the better pickup. PEACE.
