Miami would have beat S.A. like a drum just like they beat OKC. No team was overcoming Miami's combination of talent and will to win...at least not this year.
Not really. Duncan had 25 and 11 in his last game and he was able to score on OKC's bigs throughout the series and he doesn't even have cartileage in his knees just skill and power and awareness to get into his spots.. Parker isn't even that old and he was gashing OKC
Sefalosha was switching from guarding Ginobli or Parker and both of them had big games albeit at different times throughout the series
SA's old guys can still play and if Boston's old guys pushed Miami to Game 7 (when they really should have beaten MIA in 5), then the Spurs would have had the collective IQ, depth, and strategy to atleast make this a 7 game series. Boston literally had no starting centers to fill the void when KG was out and they still were able to nearly beat MIA. If the Spurs with their elite PG and their PF turned C could not have had similar success, I'd be shocked.
SA's problem was defense and yeah Duncan isn't the same player he was but its not like he was getting abused inside. SA's perimeter defenders just aren't as good as guys they had in the past and some of their young players like a Danny Green completely disappeared in the WCF.
