This was on NBA TV post game

Charles Barkley mentioned how people went crazy and said Pacers would take out Heat and then followed up with same comments about Celtics

Wade - "Hey, don't forget the Knicks now! They said we were going to lose to them too!"

LeBron: "They said it was going to be a tough series!"

Charles Barkley "Well those people don't know a damn thing about basketball."

No reason to blame Lebron and Wade. Barkley started it (as usual). And for what it's worth Bron and Wade didn't laugh at the Knicks, they laughed at people who said the Knicks would beat them. As much as I hate the Heat, they were in the Finals last year, they have the current MVP and were the N°2 seed. You guys would applaud Melo if the situation was reversed and some sports writers, columnists, reporters, analysts, etc. predicted the 7th seed would eliminate us (the N°2 seed with the MVP and a team only two games away from the championship last season) and he laughed at them because they didn't respect the Knicks. You would aplaud Melo and call them haters.

It seems Bron and Wade also mentioned Celtics and Pacers, so it wasn't only about the Knicks and it was Barkley who started that conversation about their playoffs opponents. These guys just won the championship, they have the right to laugh at people who thought they could lose in the first round.

^ No the thing is when Amare is hunting them at South Beach is one thing. Amare just talks and you know that. Boris Diaw had like 30 pts on him so he does not have the right to talk. But I hope you guys get some good people in offseason. Melo being one of my favourite player, I like the match up against LeBron.

This got me hot at first, then I was like whatever man. These guys won the chip, they have a right to say what they want and feel. We wouldn't be saying anything if the roles were reversed with Melo, and STAT laughing at them. Let them have their day.

I think this NY team is a healthy team and a bench away from actually making some noise. We're in for a real treat the next few seasons. Let's enjoy what the future has in store, and go to war with the team we have.

It was unfortunate that the Knicks weren't at full strength for that series, as it would have been competitive and last longer. With Lin being out and losing Shumpert in Game 1, it was clear the Knicks did not have enough to beat the Heat and the officials. Not trying to troll there was to much against the Knicks in that series.

We area better team than Miami. We just were banged up. If we were healthy (Lin knee, Davis knee, Shump knee, JR fatigue, Tyeson flu, Amare hand, and Jeffries knee) Miami would have been in serious trouble. They threw everyhting at Melo and Melo still went for 40. We just were too banged up at the wrong time to beat Miami. Next year baby. Melo MVP
