I expect a pretty quiet weekend. But come Monday, rumors galore all week. I hope we get involved and make some trades, whether it's minor or major.

Yup, looking forward to draft night. We'll see how our draft room stream looks like this year.

I'll never get over how elated and celebratory everyone was just to land Justin Harper :nonono:

It was crazy wasn't it? It really did look like we just landed an allstar  SO glad that regime is gone.

Was it really for that or the fact that the pizza and wings arrived?

It feels great to finally have management that values the draft, can't wait for Thursday.

I had the exact same reaction to the war room a year ago as Gregg Popavich does in your avatar

^^^^Too early to judge Harper. I must admit, he didn't give us much to get excited about when he did get minutes. Justin may validate that draft room excitement one day.

I wonder how Bulls draft room looked in 1984. I'm not comparing the two, so calm down whoever you are. lol

True, I think Harper will be a good NBA player. No knock on him. But you'd think we had done something more significant with the reaction from the war room.

Heres to hoping for better tomorrows with Henny.

I wonder who ends up having the better NBA career between Liggins and Harper. Hmmm, a great poll question.

Orlando Magic.com just released their mock draft, has us taking either Perry Jones, Kendall Marshall, or Terrence Jones

They have Kendall Marshall going at 16, 19 and 27. I thought he was easily a top 15 before the Draft Combine. Has his value dropped that much?

I think his floor is 17. I can't imagine him dropping all the way to 27. Us passing up on him would be frustrating. I don't see reason for his stock to drop either.

CBSSports and NBADraft.net have him going 17 to Dallas, DraftExpress has him going 13 to PHX, and Hoopshype has us taking him.

Quite a few mock drafts have us taking Moe Harkless right now, which I'd be cool with. Lots of potential there.

Old school point guards are a dying breed. Nowadays teams are looking for athletic point who can also score. Marshall has great size but he has below average speed/agility, and his scoring ability is non-existent.

Steve Nash focusing on the Blazers, Raptors and Suns in free agency http://dlvr.it/1lpNbk

Blazers are a interesting choice...

With Hennigan onboard, if the Magic pick PJ3 then you can be sure there's something special about him. He's one guy I would definitely take a chance on because all you need is a string of decent games in the pros for everyone to remember why he was hyped as a potential #1 at one point. Then his value would just skyrocket!

I also wouldn't mind if the team made a deal for a late first and picked up Fab Melo. He could be a great role player down the line regardless of how poor his offense is.
