Its the same mentality that allows rich/famous people to get away with things you or I could never. People want to excuse them because of the most nonsensical crap. If regular Joe acted like Lebron he wouldn't have 1 friend in the world.
great point.

He might be alright. He just gave bs answers.
I came into the locker room and he was just sitting there. I said russ are you taking questions? he asked me, what time is on the clock?
the clock said 75:57. i told him that. he said i'll talk when it hits 75:00
ok... 57 seconds? lol i said are you serious? he said yes. all the reporters laughed. he sat there staring for 57 seconds and then started speaking.
he gave "both teams played hard" answers to every question. i think he was just tired of the media.

That's it? C'mon dude your a grown man. That isn't that bad. He just won a title, is he supposed to give every single person an interview? At least he didn't say F OFF and punch you in the gut or groin area.
this was monday. after game 3.
there is no way i could explain the way he said it buy writing it. it was a big F U.
in my 3 year history of covering the nba that was the least of the things i've seen him do.
i've seen him curse at united center employees for no reason at all. ignore little kids begging for autographs. disrespect employees of tnt, etc.
never anything toward me personally.

lebron is a bad person to me. not because he didnt give me an interview. that's just 1 thing
westbrook i have only been around him this week. i dont know. but he was kind of douchey.
it's not about having the time to talk to me (miller, collison) its about HOW you talk to people. do you speak with respect or belittle people? jalen rose declined me and he was cool about it. classy.
i'm not hating. i said i was very happy for ebron and he deserved it. that's hating?

Re: Back from Miami
sorry for diverting the thread. my point was not to crap on lebron. my point was really to share the videos that i took and talk a little about the experience of being at nba finals. i've never been at one before.
i did not intend for this to be a lebron bashing session. in fact i said i was happy for the dude. sorry.

As always, thanks for the inside look, Sherron!
Btw, did you get a first hand viewing of bosh and his champagne shower? As much as I hate that the Heat won, that moment doesn't cease to make me laugh out loud. And it couldn't have happened without them winning the chip.

The Heat fans are going be a$$ for the next 6 months. The only hope for a peaceful summer was the Spurs winning.
Thanx for sharing.

Re: Back from Miami
Sorry if already mentioned, since I was never in your shoes near Lebron it's tough for me to comment. But, I have no issue with him basically telling you to F off. I've never seen Lebron as focused as these playoffs. I've been telling people since Granger ignited him after Game 3, I've never seen him play this well. He was an absolute beast in these playoffs. He basically earned my respect (not that it matters) this year. If Rose had done anything similar in the playoffs, we would have all had his back, basically saying he's not looking for any distractions, focusing on the game, etc.

Always enjoy reading your stuff SherronShabazz. Greatly appreciated.

What did he say to the UC employees?
All these incidents reminded me of this:
The fundamental problem for Spoelstra isn’t that James doesn’t respect coaches – he doesn’t respect people. Give LeBron this, though: He’s learned to live one way with the television light on, and another with it off. He treats everyone like a servant, because that’s what the system taught him as a teenage prodigy. To James, the coach isn’t there to mold him into the team dynamic. He’s there to serve him. Wade was one of the Team USA players who’d watch incredulously as James would throw a bowl of fries back at a renowned chef and bark, ‘They’re cold!’ Or throw his sweaty practice jersey across the court and command a team administrator to go pick it up. Everyone wants James to grow out of it, but he’s never showed much of an inclination for self-examination and improvement. And he’s never surrounded himself with people who’d push him to do so. What’s more, the timing of this leak was no accident, because James and his business manager had to like the idea of someone else going on trial this week. When the public wanted to talk about James’ return to Cleveland, about the callous way with which he left, about the disjointed start in Miami, they thrust everything onto Spoelstra.

I can't understand anyone who likes or defends LeBron at this point. He a Class A piece of **** human being.
