You didn't answer the question. No. Draft Doron Lamb for the win.

All Mickey and Pat need to do is go to KG and Ray Allen's house with the bag of rings that he showed LeBron...and both guys will fall in line with what the Heat want to pay them... My prediction is that by July 10th Ray Allen and KG will be introduced at the AAA because they know if they go there this team will beat any team the Bulls ever had with Jordan in terms of depth and that the Celtics are going to be fighting for the 8th playoff spot even if they were to do the unthinkable and stay. Who wants to play in that city anyways, I think with the media coverage there, players would rather play in Iraq than Boston. They city is cold and terrible...come to South Beach!! Ray Ray and KG for the next two years wouldn't even be fair...

THEY MAD!!!!

Festus or Fab would be an upgrade over anyone we have right now. They're what you might call "decent bigs"

I'm all for drafting Lamb....if we had another pick. This draft is stacked

Highly doubt K.G. signs here.

add all of the little things, like Wade staring down Garnett on an "and-1" in the ECF, Haslem calling the Celtics "Studio Gangsters" in that 2010 series, Boston's history with LBJ, the whole "Rondo elbow" thing, etc.

I just don't see Kevin Garnett signing in Miami. Bad blood all around, whether it's direct or indirect.

James Jones will probably retire anyway. JJ Hickson is better than any draft pick we could possibly get, and he could play centre, not to mention the fact that he and LeBron played well together in Cleveland.

only problem with JJ Hickson is his defensive liability :-? we are defensive juggernaut, i don´t think he will fit to our team cause of this

He wasn't a defensive liability in Cleveland when Lebron was there. Lebron will get that kid on the right page again. Especially on defense. He has potential as a shotblocker.

Grant Hill for the Vet minimum if Miller retires would be a very shrewd signing. Rolling out Hill, Battier, Lebron--we'd have 3 of the best defensive wings in the league. And Hill, like Battier, would be an intelligent locker room guy/vet presence.

I could see us doing what we did last year to be honest. I don't think we can afford a center. But we can probably get upgrades/depth at the wing or at PG cheaply.

We'll have to draft a C and develop them.

Out:
Howard, JJ or MIke, Curry, Dex

In:
Nash, GHill, Rookie Big

Nash/Rio/Cole
Wade/JJ/Harris
Battier/Hill
Lebron/UD
Bosh/Turiaf/Joel/Rookie Big

That'd be pretty sick. And look at that depth off the bench: Rio, Hill, UD as the prime rotation guys...not too shabby. Ray would be good too instead of Hill.

I really like getting Nash so we could play Rio off the bench as a more attacking offensive player, and let Cole develop next year--spend some time in the NBDL. By the time Nash retires, Cole should be developed and ready to go as a prime rotation guy, and Rio would easily step back into the starting role.

I think that's going to work better for us than wasting our time trying to pursue centers who we can't afford.

Starting Battier for a couple of series' during this playoff run was cool and all, but I'm not sure I want to see that for 82 games. This team needs to pick up a center

Terry is a PG isn't he? Ray is an SG. We need a back up SG for Wade, because Miller I think will retire.

Terry... I think he's a bit of a chucker for our team. Terry was a starter for the Mavs, just went to the bench, but he was still at the end of games and was a 2nd option.

We have 3 options already. I don't want Terry to take a shot I'd rather have Wade, Bosh, or LeBron take.

I wonder about Ray Allen's surgery however. People aren't the same after surgeries, especially shooting. I know he's the best shooter ever, but if something is wrong with Ray, he can't do anything else...

Both have relatively been healthy, just not Ray this year.

But in terms of who is better for the team, it's Ray Allen. A spot up 3 point shooter. Dare to double LeBron? oh okay, best shooter ever is right there! lol.

How would you guys feel about Rashard Lewis as a back up if Miller and Jones retire? Seems like he may get bought our by NOH.

I think Rashard is done. If we do get him, hopefully Riley and company do their homework and figure out whether or not he has anything left in the tank.

I've had this feeling for a while that we're going to get Ray Allen.

Take this with an absolute grain of salt because it's coming from a HoopsWorld reporter...

Wonder who told him that. Hope it's true.

Can you imagine if Ray is healthly and getting open looks on this team? scary. Just hope riley wants him over a big.

I think Ray would take the minimum to play here. He seems like a Heat kind of player too. He d's up hard too. Man. Teams would be **** themselves if Ray was setting up in the corners. No one could touch us with that kind of 3 point shooting and clutch ability coming off the bench.

Ray Allen is not signing on a veteran minimum contract lol. It's questionable if he would settle for the Tax payers mid-level. I personally see him resigning with Boston.
