I really, really would not want Richard Jefferson's contract on the books. That would be the worst possible scenario.

They came to us and asked us if we took Richard Jefferson ...they would send us additionally either Brandon Rush or Dorrell Wright as well in a deal for Andre that still included #7. The two teams will talk more as we get closer to draft. From what I heard, we would keep #15 but may give up a future first or maybe our two 2nds..something like that.

We liked Henson the most today....he is a distinct possibility if we moved to 7...also liked Perry jones workout as well. Drummond is evidently a possibility but the front office is split on him(not sure who is his biggest supporter and who is the biggest detractor)

We have also talked to OKC about buying their pick at 28 depending on what we do earlier in the draft(no specifics given)

things are pretty fluid but the big news is GSW massive attempt of late to try and make this work.

Sounded liked if something went down- drummond/henson at 7.......then hopefully ross at 15 but there are some in front office that love waiters at 7. Gonna be a fun week leading up to draft

MAN I hope its Drummond or Waiters. Im not too thrilled about trading Iguodala just to get Henson. Henson is WAY too fragile to me for a big man(He tweeked his ankle doing layup drills at the combine). If we get Drummond or Waiters at 7 and PJIII or Ross at 15 id be ecstatic. Hopefully we can keep atleast 1 of our 2nd rounders too because theres some decent prospects this year in the 2nd round.

Honestly, that deal does zero for me. I don't like Drummond that much and no one at 7 really intrigues me all that much.

Rush is a free agent, he can't be part of the trade discussions.

I don't want any fun I want a quick trade so we can sleep well at night lol. GSW sounds like a good bet a lot better than Toronto. Take by Wright/Jefferson and 7 and keep 15. Hopefully they pull the trigger with GSW sooner than later.

Well I don't like Henson even a little bit and I'm somewhat of a UNC fan. So if they end up taking him at 7 looks like I'll probably be sitting out another season. I'm just not going to tolerate poor management anymore.

That is unless they pull off Deron Williams or something.

Only problem is if you take on Richard Jeffersons contract...it takes you out of 2013 summer free agency opportunities.

But Henson, dorrell wright, Jefferson is decent return I think. I am not one who thinks Andre has huge trade value.

wont be management fault if they dont get deron. I just think he has several other places he would rather be

Yeah Henson at 7 does not really excite me at all. Seems like a great kid and a pretty good player but not the guy I'd want if we managed to get pick 7. Drummond would be great if he somehow fell but sixersfan1976 makes it seem as though we take Henson over Drummond even if they're both on the board. SF- big hypothetical but any chance if they're both there at 7 we consider Drummond?

I have warmed on PJIII so I will agree with KrazySixersD now that he can definitely amount to something but very risky too. If we got Wright I don't really see the need for Ross anymore. We could really bolster the front court with picks 7 and 15.

I won't hold not getting Deron against them, but I will hold trading Iguodala in a deal to take Henson by taking that stiff Jefferson back also. I just don't think he will be much offensively in the NBA and I'm tired of having teams that struggle to score.

I just don't see Henson, Waiters, Ross as anything more than above average NBA players. Guys that will be starters on borderline playoff teams, but not starters on the elite teams.

IMO if you get a top 7 pick you gotta hope that guy has potential to be really good. I don't think the usual names you are bringing up will, but hey, that's just my personal opinion.

Sixerfan which scenario is more likely to happen?

A-Iggy for Al Jefferson

B-Iggy for Gasol

C-Iggy to GSW/Toronto/Sacramento for draft pick

D-Iggy returns to philly for 2012-2013 season

i think at 7 they would have to decide between henson, waiters and drummond and i know they like henson alot. waiters there would mean having to go big at 15. i'd be ok with waiters/perry jones or drummond or henson and ross...but the guy i dont want is richard jefferson. they are tryign to sweeten deal for us to say yes to rich jeff. we will see if it will work

If the target is Henson, you don't trade with GS, you just deal for #8. Henson should still be on the board at 7 or 8.

Jefferson - 2 years and 21 million left vs. Calderon - 1 yr and 10.5 million

1. Calderon actually has value in the NBA
2. Calderon is an expiring

Dorrell Wright doesn't add much of anything to this type of deal to take Jefferson's awful contract over an expiring in Calderon. Would be completely stupid.

Not sure...but i think D is least likely and I think the lakers are leaning towards keeping Gasol.

Would be great if C amounted to a bidding war..but Sacramento really has no filler they can send.

As of right now....I would say Iggy to GSW 1, Iggy to Utah 2, and Iggy to Toronto 3 in order of likelihood...but situation still so fluid

Sacramento has plenty of filler to add to a deal.

Salmons, Garcia, Chuck Hayes and maybe even Thornton depending on how they see him fitting in with Andre/Evans/I. Thomas.

Yeah but realistically we are not going to be major players in FA. We would have a lot of money and no superstar to attract another superstar. That's what the NBA is now unfortunately.

I like Dorrell wright but hate Jefferson.....I can see where you value the toronto deal more. I am reading between the lines and I just think the recent uptick in interest in henson is why they started exploring moving up again. They must really like dorrell wright because the jefferson/#7 for andre offer has been out for awhile. All teh sudden we are interested again means we like wright alot and/or love a guy that we know we cant get at 15.
