If someone told me a match between England and Italy would start like this, I'd punch him in the dick for **** with me.

Serious question: Everybody is always raving about the Balotelis potential, what a great player he could be if he had his head straight.

I simply don't see it.

I mean, I don't watch ManCity games, but what I've seen so far doesn't impress me. His actions are either completely braindead (the run vs Spain after the Pique mistake) or nothing really special. Good, but not great. With all the craziness, you get a net negative, me thinks...

England defense is less than impressive, you knw they are going to allow at least one.

Well, he might be a lil bit overrated but in the end he's 21 and imo the greatest striking prospect out there (who else?).

The same could be said about Italy, especially since they're playing without Chiellini.

If england are going to try and counter attack all game then their going to need to put on some pace and creativity and ditch milner, but glen johnson is so terrible at rightback that he needs milners help on the right flank... tough decision

Nah Italia defenders show more awareness and tactical cohesion, only english speed give them trouble at times

Balotelli's a special player not because of his influence but because he's capable of making plays only a few in the world can make. With his eccentricity and flashes, it's no wonder he gets all the attention in the world. The guy's just so absorbing. He's not yet a great player, but he's only 21.

I would like to see Ox or Walcott in for Young and maybe Carroll in for Rooney too
