im ok with taking the good with the bad...but there's a limit to how much bad i'll take. he can destroy the locker room with all his flip flopping, inconsistent play from teammates, constant arguing with the coach. also on an unrelated note, he needs to add muscle to his legs. that was a huge liabilty for yao early in his career.

only way im ok with getting dwight is if he or deron signs a long contract

I'm not and won't I just think it be interesting to see Morey somehow get 2 top 8 picks and then turn them around to get Howard. To be a fly on the wall. Will not believe until it happens.

Very possible. Get Howard while clearing up cap space, then get Deron while punking the hell out of the Nets organization. :D

Yeah pipe dream. :(

Regardless, it will be a very exciting off-season. Even if we don't get Howard, there should be other deals waiting in line. We need to make improvements this offseason.

Sac get- Kmart, #14

Tor get- Lowry, #16

Houston- #5, #8, Evans

Houston then flips #5 + #8 + Scola + filler for Howard.

I'd rather keep the picks than get Howard but hes still a huge upgrade over any big on this team. Get Drummond working with Hakeem and we will see just how good he can be and if possible get Lillard to be Dragic's back up.

I'm hoping you guys get DH12 (from a Chicago fan). Gets him out of the East, and potentially builds another powerhouse (to beat the stupid Heat).

Just thinking out loud here, but:

Lowry & #14 --> #5
Parsons & #16 --> #8 & Kleiza
Trade #8, KMart, Scola, Dalembert, Patterson for DH12, Turk, and Duhon

@5 draft Thomas Robinson

Dragic - Duhon
Lee
Turk - Kleiza
Robinson - Morris
DH12 - Dalembert

You'd be dominant downlow w/ Robinson and DH12. Then would have Dragic (who I think can be a stud) and Lee.

If Houston acquires the 5th and 8th picks i suspect the trade would be something like

Houston gets
D12+JRich+Davis

Orlando gets
Resigned Dragic, 5 and 8, Morris, Dalambert

Breaking News: My sources have confirmed that water is still wet. :lol:

I'm curious to see what could happen with this. I must say that depending on the picks we may be able to get, would it be better to go with those picks rather than throw it all at Dwight?

I like a good trade thread as much as the next guy, but that is a bunch of crap for Howard, don't you think?

Thats what I'm wondering as well. The thing about the whole d12 thing is I think our organization thinks we are going to convince him to stay because we're winning and I don't think thats enough. He wants to go to a big market period and houston isn't that. I mean if we were to acquire the #5 and #8 pick we probably land Drummond and Ross/Waiters/Rivers/ or maybe even MKG(I doubt he falls past GS though). I'm just not sold on the D12 thing, while everyone is running around talking about lebrons non-existent ego we have idiots like D12 getting a pass.

Giving up two top ten picks, there is no way we are taking back bad contracts.

Dragic is a FA, and cannot be packaged in SnT deals.

He can, but he won't as it's a highly complicated and unrealistic scenario.

I agree that there's no way the Magic will be able to get two top-10 picks and dump contracts on top of it.

Hou- Dwight Howard & QRich
Sac- Kyle Lowry, Pat Paterson (or Morris thier choice), #14 & #16.
Orl- #5, Tyreke Evans, Chandler Parsons.

Orlando loses lots of cap & adds to rebuilding team with #5, Tyreke Evans and #19
Houston doesn't get cap reamed
Does Sacramento do it?

I don't think the Magic want another 'big' contract back. It would be Kmart or Dalemb who have an expiring deal. This way, the Magic really shouldn't turn it down. They just have to figure out how to get rid of their own bad contracts with some other team.
