I'm on the fence regarding the rumored trade.

The rumored trade that I know of, is Deng and the 29th pick for Biedrins, Wright and the 7th pick.

The 7th pick is what concerns me and the lack of depth this team will have after the trade.

From Hoopsworld:

Luol Deng – The Chicago Bulls are weighing all of their options and could trade Luol Deng prior to the draft. Chicago would love to move into the lottery and they’d be willing to part with Deng if the right deal came along. The Bulls are upset that Deng is representing Britain in the Olympics rather than undergoing surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist. Deng has heard the recent trade rumors and has accepted the fact that he may be dealt in the near future, according to sources close to the forward. Chicago would love to add a young star that could develop alongside Derrick Rose. The Golden State Warriors, holding the seventh pick in the draft, have expressed significant interest in Deng. When Britain’s national team started their training camp in Houston this week, Golden State’s East Coast scout Speedy Claxton was in attendance to take a look at Deng.

I dont want a guy who chooses to hold off surgery to play in the Olympics and ruin his 2012-13 NBA season. Dude doesnt understand why he's rich.

Thank God Bogut has his priorities straight and agreed in April to have his ankle cleaned out.

He is rumored to be out a couple of months after his surgery. This is another reason I'm on the fence.

The more I think about this trade rumor, the more I'm against it..Can you imagine if we traded for Bogut and he then announced he was holding off his ankle scope until September?

Bogut would still be worth it

Deng? No thanks

The Deng rumor lost it's teeth..

The Bulls have privately assured Luol Deng that there's "no chance" of a deal sending him to the Warriors, league source tells Y!

Dorell shot the lights out last year, is young, and cheap. Marksmen are at an unusual demand right now, so his value is definitely still there... not as high as it was last summer, certainly, but still enough that we can get a lot more for him than we should.

On the fence with this rumor.

the problems.....Deng has ligament damage in his wrist and is putting off surfery in order to play in the Olympics....that means he won't have surgery until after the Olympics and then he'll miss some of the early season or more....scary.

He's also 28 years old, which isn't that old, but still a factor.

I'd try hard to move up for MKG....if not, then I would roll with oir wings and really focus on bigs right now, as well as a good pg for insurance.

In the "who's your favorite player on each team", Dorell shows up pretty often for GSW. I don't get it either.

Doesn't Deng need surgery after the Olympics?

I noticed that too. Most were Heat fans

Deng's injury is great.

First, it's not something that's going to be a chronic problem.

And he probably wouldn't be available if he was 100% healthy - now he's at a discount. Warriors tried to get him before, but couldn't.

And I think it's great that he is delaying surgery... he is playing through injury. Props to him. He has an important game coming up, the country that saved him and his family from turmoil, first time in a long time playing for your country on the world stage. So what if he misses some games in October? He is a long term investment.

I don't care that he's not a scorer or an efficient player on offense, Warriors have offense and need guys with the full bag of skills like Deng.
