This is what Dwight wanted; a first class organization with championship material, in the FO and the locker room. Everyone blasted him, but seems like Henny agrees that we needed some major overhaul to get things done correctly.

I Just hope Denton is safe.

should've wrote my Denton comment in green. lol

Henny is cleaning house. Let me take bets on who's next?

this makes me confident in knowing JRich, Duhon, Turk, and anyone else not contributing to greatness will be dealt with, in some manner.

I'm not one for predicting things but i think it's pretty obvious what's going on here. Hennigan drafts well and develops young talent. He fires pretty much the entire front office(including what 6 scouts?) and wants a guy from Detroit who pretty much is a draft specialist. Houston's trying to acquire lottery picks, and sources are talking about Howard wanting out before or during the draft. On top of that were probably looking at a first time head coach. I'd be shocked if Dwight's still here next week.

Or you can simply say that he will trade our pick, so there is no need for scouts this offseason? No one can know anything.

It sucks to be fired to begin with. It has to be extra difficult, when the person that is firing you is 30 years old.

Whatever is happening, I like it. Hennigan seems to be taking no prisoners in rebuilding the organization, and this could be the start to something amazing. No more soft front office, hopefully Henny is building a MACHINE!

Seriously, this has to be a message to Dwight. The one quote which stuck to me during Hennigan's press conference was: "Actions speak louder than words." He's not only showing Dwight, but any other incoming draftee and/or free agent, that this is a new organization and forget what you've heard from your agent. I'm loving all that's being said by Rob.

OrlandO wrote:I think they can't actually sign until a little after July 1st (maybe 3-5 days after). I forgot the reason, but Martins said it on the radio a while back. But yeah, it has to be in July not June or else both parties lose a year.

If he signs an extension before June 30 he’d add two additional seasons and be paid $63,004,761 through 2014-15 (this includes the option year 2012-13 on his current contract). If Howard signs an extension after July 1 he could add one additional season to his total, and be paid $86,936,802 through 2015-16.

Of course, we could roll the dice if he refuses, too. Our 2013 off season would certainly look more promising than this one.

Thanks guys. Exactly what I was looking for!

Way OT: Is there an easy way to multi quote on real gm?
