JJ, 19, + filler for monta and sign Allen. That would be a HUGE backcourt upgrade. Trade Hedo near the trade deadline as an expiring and we could have:

Dwight
BBD
(Hedo Trade) or 19th pick
Allen
Ellis

Looks good to me.

How are you gonna trade the 19th pick for Monta, yet maybe use it to get a SF to play in the same lineup that has Monta?

Well, according to an ESPN report, there is "mutual interest" between Ray Allen and the Heat to see what it might take for Allen to play in Miami next season.

From ESPN:
The most the Heat can offer (Allen) is a contract starting at $3 million per year, which is known as the taxpayer’s midlevel. Allen could get more money elsewhere, but the Heat offer an attractive portfolio that goes deeper than cash.

CSNNE's Gary Tanguay reports that the Orlando Magic are showing interest in Allen as well, but wouldn't go as far as to say that feeling is mutual in Allen's camp right now.

Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix is still reporting that Miami and New York are atop Ray Allen's list of teams in free agency, and that Miami's interest is contingent on how accepting Allen will be of a reserve role.

I'm sure nobody wants to hear anymore unsubstantiated rumors, but I'm hearing the Magic are trying to bring in either D-Will or Nash as well as Ray Ray to play along side Dwight. Take it for what it's worth, hopefully D-Will and Ray Ray pan out if true. Don't shoot the messenger

I'm sure Hennigan knows he's untouchable for years if he can convince Dwight to stay and build around him. That has to be plan A.

But it seems like Ray Ray doesn't have much interest in Orlando and DWill has none. Nash is a risk. What happens when he's no longer taken care of by the Phoenix Suns miracle healthcare? I fear his body breaks down fast.

Dwight has done nothing wrong. Players every year play the game of pushing their teams to make things happen. Kobe did it. Is Dwight to be held on a superstar pedestal to where he has to smile while wearing a Magic jersey at all times.

I want to see Epic battles against the big 3 in Miami with our own big 2 or 3.

I definitely don't want to step backwards and be the next Nuggets that will never crack the top 4 seeds in their division.

I want championships. Not an 8th seed basketball team.

I guess some fans just don't understand winning.
