Hornets/Rockets pick swap

Post#1 » by BLT » Tue Jun 26, 2012 2:08 pm

Chad Ford reported last week that the hornets had offered 10 for 14 and 16, which unfortunately the rockets rejected. so now that you have the 14 16 and 18 maybe that deal can be reworked?

obviously as a hornets fan id prefer 14 and 18 for 10 but as rockets fans im sure youd prefer 16 and 18 for 10... would you do either? would you do both?

your thoughts?

yesterday report saying rockets is trying to get 4 first round picks for dwight howard
so i don't think they will trade 2 for one
more like 1 pick+1 player to trade up

depends on whos available. Theres no way in hell howard is staying here so I'm off that bandwagon(not that I really was ever on it).

i don't want him
but the team owner wants him
so there's nothing you can do unless you have enough money to buy the team from him

Forget the Hornets. I think we can make a play for Bobcats 2nd pick for Kevin Martin + 16 + 18

Use #2 on Drummond, #14 on J.Lamb
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Source close to me tells me that Rockets are now in talks with the Golden State Warriors in hopes to acquire the 7th overall pick

I don't think the bobcats would give up the #2 for that package...

The Chronicle said the Rockets may go after Eric Gordon by signing him to a contract they think the Hornets won't match BUT they'd have to renounce Dragic to do so.

they would if we take on Tyrus Thomas' 3 year contract but I don't think we want to do that.

E.Gordon seems injury prone
first year: missed 4 games
2nd year: missed 20 games
3rd year: missed 26 games
4th year: missed 57 games
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming
