No answer? I guess that means that you don't care.

Either I drank expired milk this morning or the first half of your question doesn't really make sense... what are you asking??

I remember Houston was this serious about trading for Melo too, but nothing came of it. These guys suck at drafting and rather make big plays for other teams' stars.

if Houston indeed gets the 5th pick, and swaps it to us for Dwight, who should we target? I'd guess Drummond, Barnes, MKG.

#6, #11, Aldridge and Batum and that still won't be enough unless that #6 pick ends up being Drummond. I say no way jose.

If and i mean if we make this crazy deal then the pick almost has to be Drummond.....Big men are a scarce commodity in this league.....Drummond has been said to be the next Dwight/Amare so why not roll the dice on an 18 year old kid with that kind of potential.....I mean look at DeAndre Jordan he basically got similar dimensions and athleticism compared to Drummond except for the fact that Jordan is getting paid 10 milli a year.......

I wouldnt say they suck, they simply cant get higher picks, they are always mediocre, so they get a low lottery pick, with this pick they get some backup guys, 8ppg, for example. They simply cant find an all-star because dont get top picks and no one trades one to them too.

If they get D12 i see them filling a lot of gaps in their team in 2 years and becoming a contender.

Since D12 got drafted:
2005: 24: Luther Head
2006: 8 Gay / 32 Novak
2007: 26 Aaron Brooks
2008: 25 Batum
2009: No pick
2010: 14 Patrick Petterson
2011: 14 Morris / 23 Mirotic (potential) / 38 Parsons

If Charlotte is serious about moving down, Houston should give them a call.

Not saying that they'll be able to beat the Cavs offer, but it's worth a shot.

Dwight trade scenario becoming more likely. Hou picking up 18th and going after 7th pick. Hou would pick up Hedo and Duhon's contract also

Man, Houston is going all out to get any marquis player. They will settle for anyone with these picks and definitely do not have their sites locked on Howard. I am almost positive that Houston is targeting Gasol. It is only deluded Magic and Rockets fans that are buying into the Dwight thing. It will never happen. I guarantee it. But, if people want to play NBA 2k13 via RealGM Trade Checker or your imagination, feel free to do so. But, Dwight will never wear a Rockets Jersey, ever.

Book It. -BMP

Dwight Howard & #19 to Lakers for Metta World Peace...

About as realistic as some of the dream scenarios being continuously posted.

That was my reaction too

Marshall
JJ
Batum
Aldridge
Drummond

if Dwight refuses to verbally commit..sign me up because that's probably the best trade I've ever seen. I dont think Portland would do it though.

No offense but if Dwight has a friend that tells all his business after they speak, then Dwight need to drop that friend. And if Houston is doing all this to acquire Howard who has never been with that Organization then I think the Magic need to do all they can to surround Howard with players whether he signs an extension or not.

im wondering at this point, keeping Dwight is even an option anymore. Seems like our buddy is set on rebuilding. Mainly due to the fact that by keeping we dont have the ability to improve our roster. Also the fact that Rob has not contacted Dwight and management are said to not have communicated with Dwight. I really think he is gone. Dont know how to feel about that.

Uhhh, if Dwight demands a trade and the Blazers offer that, you do it. As fast as you possibly can.

Does anyone know for sure that Hennigan had yet to contact Dwight or are we playing panic with rumors from "sources"?

Did someone just say they wouldn't trade Dwight for two lotto picks, Aldridge AND Batum?
