Period, end of story.

That story is a childrens book. I'll stick to my adult novels (or comics lololol)

let me guess, fifty shades of gray?

You guys do realize that if Dwight wanted out of Orlando that badly, all he had to do was play in Houston for a couple of months and then sign with Brooklyn as a free agent this summer, right? I mean, that seems like a small price to pay to be set up with Deron Williams in Brooklyn like he wanted, and Brooklyn would even have the #6 pick to put with em.

When I see that, I have a hard time believing he's as bad, and his demand to get out, is as strong as you guys are making him out to be.

And no, if you're loyal, you give the Magic a chance. Signing the extension is some condition you guys are putting on him. Put in the same position, if you have lost faith in the Magic FO, and you see them restructuring, you wait to see see who are put in place and what their vision is before you sign, no matter how loyal or unloyal you are. We don't even have a head coach for crying out loud. You call it being selfish. I'd call what you are doing selfish. For Dwight, it's just being smart.

Agreed , Dwight is only the best big man in the game ! I think it's easier to get a scoring wing player than it is to get another Dwight .

I just read on twitter that Rondo was traded to the Kings for Evans and the #5 pick. Not sure how legit it is, but if true...wow.

He can't sign the extension till July, so why not at least wait to see if he will before bashing him or jumping off a cliff? Signing anytime before, including around the trade deadline, would have been the worst business decision ever. It would have also been bad for us long term. Opting in to the final year allows him to still sign an extension this summer and get an additional year than signing the extension months ago.

Two separate sources have confirmed that point guard Damian Lillard won the hearts of Trail Blazer officials with a solo workout for the team earlier this month that was sensational.

Lillard was said to be near flawless in the session, during which he was put through shooting drills and drills that tested his skills as a pick-and-roll point guard.

One person at the workout said,"I swear,he missed two shots the whole time -- that's all. He was amazing."

Another source was even stronger.

"It's the best workout we've had here since Kevin Durant," he said, echoing what others have said about that workout.

Of course, the Trail Blazers didn't take Durant in the draft -- which adds a touch of irony to the situation. Portland, this time, appears to want Lillard, though

Rudolph will be on ESPN radio again 3-7pm http://www.sportstalkflorida.com/espn-1040-station/

Amazing what that Dwight scoop at the trade deadline did for him. And who knew he had 4 hours (x2) worth of topics to discuss....

How do we know he asn't already said he won't sign the extension already? Dwight is being incredibly quiet and I suspect he is having his "people" run things behind closed doors to avoid looking bad like he did last year.

We don't know anything. But if you look at the facts, if people would stop assuming what's going on, look at how all the scenarios play out, the Magic have a lot more leverage than they did last year.

Hate to say it friends from Orlando, but all signs point to both of our franchises getting played.

Dwight wants to be in Brooklyn and he wants max raises, which means he has to be traded there.

He knows being traded to Houston/LA, ala rentals, means he would have to walk to Brooklyn, and thus take the "lower" max.

The camp rumors floating out are there to discourage us.

If things heat up anymore, I fully expect Dwight to start playing up the "I want to be in Orlando" angle so he won't be traded, and then a complete 180 at the deadline when NJ actually has the pieces to move. This isn't going to turn out well for anyone.
