Cleveland Indians (37-34) @ Yanks (43-28): Seriously?

Post#1 » by Dr. Detfink » Mon Jun 25, 2012 10:34 pm

Can't believe in this day and time, the Indians continue to sport that cartoonish big buck toothed Indian. I'm not American Indian and even that bothers me. I always loved, LOVED the classic "C" hat.

Simple look works. That's why the Yanks NY logo and not some caricature doesn't need any revising.

Back to the game...Yanks can put some real distance if Jeter can stop being streaky, A-rod hits a ball out of the infield, Tex improves his base running...

Match ups:

Tomlin vs Kuroda: Can Kuroda buy some run support?

Masterson vs. Hughes: Tale of two stocks that has plummeted since their debut.

Jimenez vs Pettitte: Andy needs a win before I get a little worried that he's gassed out.

Cano is on fire! 6 HR's in his last 10 hits. Good god!

It's amazing to think that Ian I cant hit outside of Texas and I have worse stats than Cano Kinsler is ahead of Robbie in the all star voting.

Come on, Cash. We can't call someone up for the 6th or 7th? Such a joke. Wade gives me a headache.

Happy be-lated to the Captain.

Costly win for the Yanks as they lose Pettitte indefinitely...

Soriano made it interesting at the end but the Yanks hung on to win. I thought Jimenez did ok: 4 hits, 7Ks but the blast by Cano did him in.
