2103? wont we be dead by then???
Anyhow, Yes for the first trade proposal.
No to the next two.
Monta Ellis is waaaaaayyy better than Martin. I dont see why Houston fans think Monta is not as good. Hes a borderline superstar. He has proven he can take over games on offensive. Hes usually consistent. He can create his own shot and at least we'll have a well known name in Houston. I know he wont be the answer, but u got to start somewhere.

I'd say no to all three. I would rather use the picks elsewhere or just draft them. Ellis can be good, but I see these trades as Houston just continuing to spin their wheels and end up with the 14th pick again next year.

Houston needs to swing for the fences this offseason.

First off the trade proposals you made aren't bad at all, but ellis is not gonna get love on this board because he's a scorer. We'd rather obsess over players like igoudala(who might be the third scoring option on his team) and Gortat. Anyways , yes to the first and no to the second and third. The real question is why would milwaukee do this? Ellis is one of the best scorers in the leage and although he's undersized ill take his scoring/size>martins scoring, and lack of defense/effort.

I'll take gordon over ellis because he doesn't have to have the ball in his hands to be effective. Ellis is a great scorer, but it takes away from the team when you have to dominate the ball to score(russell westbrook)....

I do number one if it's just top 10 protected and two if its 14 16 and a future second

Having someone who can create their own shot would be a nice change from last year where our offense would stall

Ellis would entice Dwight to stay if they then traded for him... maybe then if it was like:

#14 + Lowry + Dally + Scola + Morris for D12 and Turk

5.Dwight
4.Turk
3.Parsons
2.Ellis/Lee
1.Dragic

Dwight would like that team.. He loves Turk, Ellis, and Courtney Lee from his old Magic team

Yeah, a big part of getting Ellis is his relationship w/ D12 and how much it would help getting and keeping Dwight.

x
Ellis
x
x
Howard

is a playoff team and 50 game winner.

could do
Ellis/12
for
Martin/14/16/18

Then flip
Scola/Lowry/Morris/12/2013 1st
for
D12

Dragic
Ellis
Lee
Paterson
Howard

not bad.

Basketball is a team sport. All those years he had to carry that team and you're going to blame the losing on him? I'm not saying ellis is the greatest playmaker/facilitator but with the right pieces around him he could definitely help a team win.

You guys can say whatever you want to about ellis and continue to drool over gortat, parsons, igoudala etc. Like I said WITH THE RIGHT PIECES ellis is a good player. He's the most similar player to russell westbrook there is, and I think westbrooks teams win and thats not just because of kd either. Fact still remains you put ellis on this team he's the best player we have with the exception of lowry....
