I don't want Terrence Jones because I think he could end up being another tweener. Not a true SF or PF. Doesn't really have a great jumper. I'm getting tired of guys where you don't know what position they are best at.

Also I'm not sure if 6'9 really makes you a 'big man' these days. A 6'9 SF to me is not a big man.

Not sure if you saw it or not, but I posted earlier that there's multiple reports that Lamb has been red flagged for a shoulder injury. Might make it a real possibility he slips to 15 if teams are scared off.

You can assume thats part of todays meeting.

Gsraider wrote:Another interesting thought. The other day some fans went nuts when Thorn mentioned that he didn't see the Sixers moving up from the 15th spot. Some took that to mean that Philly will do nothing again. However, what if Philly does make a deal to acquire a pick as has been discussed on this board without trading the #15? In that instance, Thorn told the truth about Philly's own pick, while simply acquiring another one in a different move. At least, I would be happy if that happened.

Ssshhhhhhhhhh. Quiet!

LOL

lets put it this way..other GM's in this town lie when asked direct questions. Rod is too old school to do that.......so if we acquire another pick and keep 15..we didnt trade up from 15...so he didnt really lie did he?

That would seem to rule out toronto with their #15 demand tho.

G State is eyeing several SFs via trade: Rudy Gay, Iguodala, Marvin Williams, in addition to Wil Chandler, sources say. Nothing imminent

I still hope Ross or Sullinger at 15. I agree Ross won't be there. I wonder how badly they want him.

we would be crazy to not move thad for 7. From what I heard it hasnt come up. Their interest has been solely Iguodala.

I am also not down on Thad..and believe he can be a key contributor for us in the future.

I'm not nearly as down on Thad as others too. I also didn't know if it had anything to do with the #7 pick, but I thought I remember reading a blurb that said GS was unable to pry loose Iguodala OR Young from Philly. I was just curious if there was anything to that.

If they want these guys so bad then go and get em. Iggy for 7 and draft Henson and then Draft ross at 15.

Hey Sixerfan, if Philly was looking to move up a few spots to say #12 or so, as you have mentioned somewhat briefly during this thread, what would they be looking to trade in order to get there? I assume that adding the #45 and/or the #54 would not be enough.

Agree with this in theory. Henson will be at 7. Ross not so sure at 15.

But I will say if they leave tomorrow night with Dorrell Wright, Henson and Ross they will be very happy. Would also have R.Jefferson, Biedrins or someone else they spun the bad contract for of course but thats a productive night.

good question...dont know answer to that one. would think it wouldnt cost too much...but I would do that to ensure you get your guy.

I think if they trade with GSW..they will really really think about Waiters but still take Henson.

Then the fingers crossed approach for Ross at 15 vs....just go get him at 11-12 range.

I agree which has me questioning whether they have the bullets or will want to trade again to get to 12 and get him.

Yea I'm hearing Ross could go as high as 11.

I wonder if we could revamp Biedrins. He could rebound and block shots before

i would take biedrins assuming dwight goes to the nets and we play them 4 times a year hes another big body to put on him and use up some fouls on...

Geting Henson along with Jefferson and Wright plus our pick at 15(Ross,Rivers,Sullenger,PJ3) would be a great draft night. One can only pray it will happen.
