Which one of the Cavs, Blazers or Rockets will also take back Tyrus?

That team wins.

Houston loses unless they can get us a top 6 pick.

Definite no to 14,16 and 18.

The 6 and 11 is dicey as well. Drummond is falling a little bit from what I see on some of the latest mock drafts.

rockets now have 12, 16, and 18 instead of 14. Something to do with the bucks?

EDIT:

#12, Brockman, Leuer, SL for #14, Dalembert

Slightly improved their position here.

Honestly think there is no way Portland offers us 6 + 11 for the 2. None. And I take it in a heartbeat knowing I can get the combo of something like a MKG + Terrence Ross or Jeremy Lamb (Lamb flourished playing next to Kemba at UCONN).
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

I could see the Rockets trying to do a package around possibly Kyle Lowry.

I would love the Portland picks over the #2 pick. Let's hope that can happen. I'm guessing if Portland wants the 2nd pick, they must be going after Drummond.

Does Lowery, 12,16 & 18 Do it for us if we deal 2 & Tyrus? That would be tempting if Cho has most picks in the 6 through 18 range within the same tier.

Banjo Kazooie I mean Drummond is the only player I don't want out of the top 6, and I have a feeling he'll be the only player there at 6, which is why I wouldn't do that deal.

The Bobcats really, really need to come out of the draft with one of Barnes, MKG, Beal, Robinson, or Davis

Drummond at #6. Lamb at #11?

Kemba - Gordon - Lamb - Drummond...............Tarheels would have a melt down!

We could bring Okafor back for the UCONN-lotte starting 5!

--Both Cho and Higgins went out of their way to say they highly value the No. 2 pick. Cho said it would take something “really enticing’’ to trade down or out of that spot.

ohara wrote:Not a rumor. Just a question. Say the Wizards approach Charlotte about a #2 for #3 swap. They will also swap the recently acquired Ariza for TT. Ariza is less money, 1 year less Contract, and fills a SF need. Is that enough of an incentive to swap and fall back to #3? You still get either T-Rob, Barnes or MKG.

I would ask for Mack (with his contract it still works).

Actually according to Mike Wises twitter (DC sports columnist) when asked about a 3 and 32 for 2 swap Grunfeld did not say "no" when asked if the team would pursue that.

Uh Oh...looks like the hardball with Cleveland may see a trade slip away...

The Cleveland Cavaliers have long been linked to trade scenarios where they move up in the draft, but now there is word they may look to move down in the draft. The Cavs are working out Washington guard Terrence Ross, and it’s doubtful Cleveland would use the fourth pick on him. The Cavs are clearly in rebuilding mode and are thinking about the future more than the present. If they could trade down in the draft and pick up another asset or two, it appears they would be at least willing to listen to offers.

Our insistence that Tyrus be part of the deal will drive most potential players away. That contract is toxic for any team other than (possibly) Houston. I am sure Portland will not do it, nor would Washington. Can't see Cleveland doing it either. The new statement from our front office that they "love our #2 pick and it would take a lot to deal it" is positioning. I say the deal better get done today or there may be no deal.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Absolutely... almost glad we didn't get the #1 pick this year. That would have been really boring.

Well, who do Blazers would want at 2? There is no PG, the other hole they have is at C... but they may just pick Robinson asw well playing LMA at C, or think Beal would be an upgrade over Matthews... but if they would target Drummond then getting 6 is ok as one of the Tier 2 falls to 6 then. As long as we are ok with taking anyone of them.
