Don't mind the value. Hate the direction. It reveals the inevitability of do or die for that 8 seed and proves to be a waste of another recent pick, as Sanders will get meager minutes at best.

I think we could not pick up Dalembert's option if we wanted to.

I thought of this too and could get behind watching this team...

Then I remembered Drew Gooden is on our team and how this organization thinks that guy is good.

Maybe. If Ross and Lamb are gone, they still could take a big like T. Jones.

I'm good with him.

It should also be noted, that while Dalembert is a stop gap, he's a valuable stop gap. IF the whole "win now" thing doesn't work for us. We could easily sell him at the deadline. He's got a 6.7 million dollar expiring deal which is a nice chunk of change. Other players can easily be added in a deal with a team looking to shed salary. The most important thing here, as it differs from other expiring deals we've had in the past, is the quality of player he is. Dalembert is a guy who can start or come off the bench for your team and do things on the defensive side of the ball that will help your team win games. That's a commodity.

Would have had to in order to be traded.
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

I mentioned him here the other day. I could definitely see him being the pick at 14 assuming the Bucks keep it.

T. Jones is a distinct possibility at 14.

Yup. He instantly becomes a valuable trade asset. Honestly, there's not a single bad thing that I see about this trade except losing Leuer. Not yet anyway.

Dalembert is under contract for only a year, but it's certainly possible we do not view him as a one year rental and hope to resign him.

Considering how he's owned Bogut so many times in front of Kohl, we could be looking to extend him if we can.

A) assures we won't draft one of the bust white stiffs at C
B) rids us of Brockman's worthless roster spot
C) gets us a legit C so we won't have to witness Gooden getting owned
D) we only slide down 2 spots -- we must be targeting a guy (hopefully athletic 2 or 3)
Great points.

Hopefully we don't overpay Ersan though.

I think you can expect to see one of the Terrences on the Bucks after tomorrow. They think one of them will still be there at 14.

The Houston Rockets have a decision looming over center Samuel Dalembert, who averaged seven points, seven rebounds and nearly two blocks a game in his first year with the team. Dalembert is owed $6.7 million next season, but it’s only partially guaranteed. He can be waived before July 8th for only $1.5 million.

Would be very happy with either Jones at #14.
