I'd honestly rather play Sanders, but Dalembert is definitely the best C on this team now. He's 31, not 37.

Sullinger should be available, but it would be interesting to know if he could still be in play for the Bucks.

Looks like rotoworld loves this for us... 8-)

[quote]The Rockets have traded Samuel Dalembert and the No. 14 pick to the Bucks in exchange for the No. 12 pick, Jon Brockman, Jon Leuer and Shaun Livingston.
This seems like a slam dunk for Milwaukee. The draft pick difference is minimal, Brockman and Leuer are both low-end NBA power forwards (an overflowing position for the Bucks), Livingston was expendable, and the Bucks address their most glaring roster need: a quality starting center. Dalembert (who will earn $6.7 million in the final year of his deal) immediately slots into the C position ahead of Ekpe Udoh, Larry Sanders and Drew Gooden, and he should easily exceed the 22 minutes per game he averaged for Houston last season.[/q uote]
God is good.

Dalembert's 7/7/2 on only 22 minutes is really impressive. I hope we plan to play him in a limited starting role like HOU did and give Sanders/Ekpe the majority of the minutes in the 2nd and 3rd.

Houston doesn't have a second rounder, Motiejunas? Morris?

Dropping Brockman and Leur cleans up our PF mess some. Makes me think we are more likely to resign Ersan now.

And we also have nothing at SG now aside from Ellis since we dealt Livingston. Unless we are getting a guard from the rockets, backing up there is wide open for a young guy to get some clock.

SF we have Moute / Dunlevy / Harris, but we need help there too.

Guessing the other piece is Craig Smith.

Might not be happening. Wasn't consequential either way.

12.2 pts / 11.4 rbs / 2.8 bks per 36 minutes last year with a .551 TS% is a nice addition. He's still plenty good as a big man. Not some all-star caliber guy, but a guy who can guard any center in the league effectively and do the dirty work for you on the boards.

That and/or positioning the team to be more attractive for the next GM and head coach.

I don't see why anyone would act like Dalembert isn't valuable when you are trying to win games. If our goal is to go for 45-50 wins, he definitely helps. He's a legit C and a mediocre starter or a very good bench player.

I like Smith a lot, hUge hands, catches the ball in the post one handed for dunks.

He also means Gooden won't be starting at C and his minutes there should be significantly less in theory. That's obviously huge.

A surprising move given the lack of electric swag.
