Which is equal to or more than we usually got from Bogut. Good deal... Came away with a legit center and didn't have to give much.

Are we really planning to keep all of Moute / Sanders / Udoh with Daly?

That's a front court full of guys who can't score.

If we were so inclined, this might set us up to trade for the Warriors pick or something. If they value Moute or want Udoh back, I doubt us packaging the #14 rather than the #12 would make a trade for the #7 so much less likely.

He also means Gooden won't be starting at C and his minutes there should be significantly less in theory. That's obviously huge.

If our front court next year is:

Dalembert / Sanders
Ersan / Udoh
Moute / Tobes

I will actually be pretty excited to watch this team. Especially if Jennings is still at the 1 and we move Ellis while getting a reasonable player at the 2. Dunleavy can still play minutes, I'm fine with that.

This move certainly doesn't mean they won't still draft a center at 14. Jefferson - Alexander. Jackson - Tobes.

Jennings/Udrih
Ellis/Lamb
Harris/Dunleavy
Ilyasova/Moute
Dalembert/Sanders

I'm down with that.

I'm good with Harris/Moute and T.Jones/Dalembert in the frontcourt.
Nothing will not break me.

I was thinking (hoping) the same thing.

I won't be excited to watch them without a franchise player, but I would ditch any thought of the lotto. That frontcourt takes them to the playoffs.

Lets hope Skiles sees it the same way. Gooden should not be on the floor for more than 15 minutes per night. Hell, if he can come in and knock down a few shots in limited playing time, I might actually not hate him.

You forgot Gooden in that rotation chart, and we know how Skiles likes him.

Unless Gooden is moved, I would expect either we don't resign Ersan, or at least one of our front court young guys don't get much clock.

That is, unless we are packaging one of Sanders / Udoh / Moute in another deal.

I think this is far more likely than what you posted.

But I agree I could get behind your idea.

Yup. They will counter this good move with letting Ersan walk and justifying it with the line of: Gooden's offensive prowess will complement Dalembert's defensive style perfectly-- thus replacing what Ersan could have brought.

Jennings / Udrih
Monta / Crawford?
Dunleavy / Tobes
Gooden / Moute / T. Jones
Dalembert / Sanders / Udoh

Something like that is likely, I reckon.

It will be interesting with a Gooden/Dalembert starting front court. ;)
