Like I said. If Ersan isn't brought back this move doesn't even make up for his loss.

That may just be reflecting the fact the Bucks now have the 14th pick. DX had Leonard going 14th to the Rockets in their last mock.

I think he's probably not wearing any socks with that ensemble.

I really think you're overrating Ilyasova's importance to this team. :)

Moving down from 12 to 14 is probably worth having an actual C.

Good job Hammond?

I think so. I thought Miami would've signed him, but they chose Battier.

Really not a fan of this move. I'd rather just play Larry at Center.

12.2 pts / 11.4 rbs / 2.8 bks per 36 minutes last year with a .551 TS% is a nice addition. He's still plenty good as a big man. Not some all-star caliber guy, but a guy who can guard any center in the league effectively and do the dirty work for you on the boards.
Ok use the real numbers. There is a reason why he only played 22 minutes a game. Average 7.5 ppg and 7rpg and 1.7 blocks. I did not say it was a bad trade. He just will not give you 35 minutes a game.

Alright. Adjusted stats are real numbers, though. It shows you what he is on pace for production-wise if he were on the floor that long. You're right, he won't give you 35 mins a night, he has never done that in his career, but he can certainly give you 25-30 mins a night. That still leaves you with nearly a double-double average with 2+ blocks per game.

Still though, that stats line is ridiculously good for a center playing only 22 minutes, so I'm not sure what your argument is?

Agreed. And considering how much better of a fit Ersan would be next to Daly than Moute / Udoh / Sanders, I think it's become more likley that one of those guys get moved.

Regrettably...the Bucks braintrust probably views Gooden as a great compliment to Daly. His defensive lapses are covered, and he remains our only player who can post up at all (at least in theory).

I'm wondering if we demanded 14 to stay in front of Philly for T. Jones. He's my guess at our pick right now. Either him or Ross.

It's amazing how easy it is to want to watch this team without Gooden on it.

It's equally amazing how depressing it is to know Drew Gooden will play... even if it's just 5-10 minutes a game. It makes me just not want to watch at all.

He was signed 13 days after the lockout ended towards the end of the preseason. Doesn't really mean much when you've got 17 days to round out your roster.

Huh? Houston is moving up. And I didn;t say anything about Dalembert's salary from Milwaukee's perspective. I just read a few articles that said Houston was eager to dump Dalembert's salary. That doesn't mean picking it up is necessarily a bad move, it just means that the Bucks were stupid to include Leuer.

If this simply means Gooden slides to PF for 28 minutes a night I'm gonna laugh all the way to the lotto.

In exchange for moving down 2 spots we no longer have to witness Gooden starting at C and reduced the chances of picking one of those two bigs, so I like it. Dalembert had one of his better seasons in this one just gone too.

That likely wasn't going to be an option (although the Bucks do seem intent on Sanders working more at C next season in a backup role). Looking at the likely scenarios this to me is far preferable than making a horrible pick for a C at 12 or going with Gooden in the starting lineup at C again.

Like I said the other day, everybody forgets Gooden in the rotation chart every time. On purpose. :D

This trade, however, could significantly decrease his playing time.
