Don't know the details yet. Yahoo Sports is reporting this.

Dally & #14 to the Bucks for #12 and fillers

John Brockman, Jon Leurer and Shaun Livingston to the Rockets.

Rockets shave around 2M off of their salary cap with this move.

not that im rooting for a one year rental in Howard, but i would think Daly would have been one of the pieces in that trade.

Those fillers are: Livingston, Brockman, and Leurer. Awesome trade.

Yeah, me neither. Can't study because of these rumors.

Anyone think that any of these guys will be on the roster next season?

Team options on Livingston and Leurer next season. So those guys are probably gone when the season starts. Brockman is owed $1m each year for the next 2 seasons. But he could be gone too.

I haven't followed Livingston at all last year. Can the guy still play?

Since we lost Budinger, the main idea was to get Brockman to do this:

Entertainment reasons.

So we saved 2 million, got our backup pg(who was supposed to be a star coming out of peoria but suffered injuries), and got a higher pick all for a center we really dont want/need. :D :D

Hey - maybe a couple of these guys are some cheap roster spots (Leuer & Brockman)

Leuer can play. I doubt we trade or cut him, unless another team values him (more than we do).

Does Livingston have anything left in the tank? I wonder what he could have been if not for those early injury issues.

Houston is being very assertive. I think tomorrow is a HUGE day for them.

I think it's a good deal for both teams. Milwaukee gets a rotation center and only moved down 2 spots, while we essentially moved up for moving a guy that wasn't in our future plans (though moving #16 instead of #14 would have been nice).

And Leuer is actually solid; can stretch the floor, and seems to be a solid finisher. It was only his rookie season last year..

Not a Bucks fan, but from what I saw Leuer can play, he really should be on the roster next year. I think a glut of power forwards, along with Skiles' unfortunate, uh, preference for Drew Gooden left no minutes for Leuer last year.

dump salary and move up in the draft
pretty nice
like i said can't move from 14th to 6th then doing it slowly
14th -> 12th
now he needs to move 12th+lowry for 6th

Good trade for Houston. Jon Leuer can certainly play.

Great trade for both teams I think. Bucks desperate for a center and can still likely get Ross or Terrence Jones at 14. I thought they might have to take 16 instead to get it done.
