Re: Dalembert traded to the Bucks
To me the only good thing is we do not have the 14th pick. To me I think just for pure cap relief for Mil. that we should have been able to do it for the 16th instead.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I highly doubt we've seen the end of the pre-draft trades.

i dunno much about these fillers. livingston is getting borderline decent numbers as a backup in spot minutes. dont mind him as our 3rd pg. the other two are undersized centers. and brockman is a 6'8 forward/center, so undersized for both positions. according to hoopshype, shaun and leuer are team options for 12-13, and brock is owed just 1mil then hes off the books.
so thats moving up two spots in the draft, 2 exprings, one small 1 year contract, and potential cap space. cue the morey gif:

Re: Dalembert traded to the Bucks
I take yalls word for it but I just do not know about any of these player. Well I know about Livingston and I want him gone because I do not want to remember that injury every time I see him. Just moving up two spots seems very little

Rockets trade Dalembert, #14 to Bucks for #12, Shaun Livingston, Brockman, Leurer
no idea who are they except livingston
edit
just for salary matching
they wont make the team

I'm sure whatever it is he's doing will be disappointing at first, then we'll gradually get on board with it. It will also be something none of us were expecting.

If there is a just God, then yes. Martin next.
btw, I ran into a Rockets employee yesterday. Not front office, but still... I congratulated him on the Budinger move and asked if he thought Lowry would get moved. His response:
"Most likely."

For what it's worth, I sing karaoke with Moochie Norris on Tuesdays. Believe it or not, he's a Celtics fan.

That Moochie Norris sings karaoke surprises me not in the least. With that hair, what the hell else could his hobby possibly BE?
P.S. Pics or it didn't happen.

Re: Dalembert traded to the Bucks
The Bucks said Wednesday they got Dalembert, the 14th overall pick in Thursday's draft, a future second round pick and cash considerations from Houston in exchange for forwards Jon Brockman and Jon Leuer, guard Shaun Livingston and the 12th pick.

Re: Dalembert traded to the Bucks
Hey guys just thought I would add some perspective from Bucks side.
Livingston: looked really nice last season in patches, still has a lot of talent, great size, legit PG vision decent mid range shot. With his size he will probably play some 2 for you guys aswell but when he's matched up with a PG, will take him to the post and shoot over him all day which he can do effectively. Legitimate rotation player who will go through patches of DNPs and 20+ mpgs. Is a streaky jump shooter though, no 3pt range and obviously has lost a step after the knee injury.
Leuer: really disappointed to lose him, started a few games for us last year and looked great as a stretch 4. Due to Skiles not liking rookies / dragging them after any defensive mistakes and a crowded rotation, he didn't play as many mins as he should have. Has a spot in the league as that stretch 4 and I can see him being a fan favourite in Houston like in Milwaukee. Was a weak rebounder last year and not the best defender yet but does give a lot of effort. Bucks only gave him up to match salaries and our GM sounded pretty disappointed to lose him. Great character guy too.
Brockman: was played mostly at C for us due to our lack of Cs which is ridiculous considering he is undersized for PF. Very strong, good rebounder and will work his butt off when in the game but not much of an offensive game and gets abused by bigger starting 4/5s as you would imagine. Another great character guy and does a lot of community work and will probably be a fan favourite guy as long as he isn't relied on being played much.
So basically Leuer and Livingston can become decent rotation players in the right situation and I honestly believe Leuer can still turn into a borderline starter / solid bench player if he works hard. You've gotten 3 quality character guys (if you end up keeping them)
I think the trade works well for both of us as we were in desperate need for a Center and Sammy D fits the bill perfectly with our undersized backcourt leaking a few points.
All the best.

Leuer can be the next Steve Novak.
