Nash/Jose type pnr guard will do wonders for JV offensively.

Yeah, the Lithuanian guards have been dreadful! Throwing the balls out of bounds, folding under full court pressure, not getting in the lane. It has been painful.

JV is flashing everytime off the pick with his hands in the air waiting for the delivery. Mozgov is shading toward the shooters because

a) Lth guards are looking to shoot first
b) Lth guards are horrible at hitting the cuts. They are over or undershooting all the passes.

His teammates are blind to him on the PnR. Jonas is moving to the right spots, yet his guards completely look him off and either get stripped or take a terrible shot. IF we end up with Nash, Jonas will have a field day on those PnR chances.

I still cant believe Russia have such a decent roster. It looks like they found those players in a woods or smth, they had no talent at all, and suddenly, there is Chryapa, Shved, Mozgov and Vorontsevic (who is not even here). I swear it happened overnight.

I think they blew this game when they sit Saras and put that guy, who instantly committed 8 second violation... Lithuanians has such a big hole in PG its just downright depressing and embarrassing.

I heard Kalnietis was injured so the whole ''experimenting'' is understandable, but damn those guys are bad.

I said before, earlier in this thread, that Lithuania won't qualify unless they make quick improvement, because they were behind the other good teams, in terms of where they were at in their preparation. I also said Lithuania needed to select Gecevicius, to which some Lithuanian fans here laughed..........
