Glad to hear Varnado had an out in his overseas contract. Good shot he's on this roster next year.

Varnado is a shot blocker, but not a NBA center. He will likely have to play 4 in the NBA. He's a bit under 6'9".

Varnado, huh? I have to find some new video of him to see if he improved last season. He was a slightly better Joel the last time I saw footage. PEACE.

Ainge: Allen is open to a return to Boston

Why would Ray want to go back to a team that almost shipped him outta Boston twice??? Ray Ray is Miami bound.

I was wondering when we'd get him. He sort of fills out PF void a bit if Bosh goes to Center. But I don't think he spreads the floor well. It's like a taller version of Joel.

Its about time Varnado gets into the thick of things. Though he is a good shot blocker, he is undersized like Joel. Hopefully better than Joel offensively lol.

Man I hope Ray sticks it to Boston and comes to Miami. It's a great fit. Reigning threes all day and it doesn't even have to be off screens! Don't go back to Boston Ray! Wish he was still active on twitter lol

If Varnado is coming and could be sighed it's like geting another pick at the draft, he's a 24 year old defensive PF. could be useful. the question is how much better he got.

I think we still have a good shot at Ray Ray. He knows (or should know) they ain't getting past Miami next year with KG and Pierce a year older, a little bit closer to some debilitating injury--not to mention, Boston clearly doesn't want him that much!! They tried to trade him multiple times.

How do most of yall feel about Tracy McGrady? He's still a good playmaker. He can spell LeBron sometimes and he still defends well (saw him manage against KG some stretches in this years playoffs). He never got any PT in Atlanta which I never understood. And the whole he's a cancer thing is blown out of proportion... he wouldn't do anything detrimental in Miami. He's also a vet min guy so... low risk IMO so what do yall think?

The two most important pieces for the Heat to address either through FA, the draft, or by trade this offseason or down the road will be to add both a center who can score inside the paint and add a backup 2/3 who can shoot threes and create his own shot. The one thing that makes this Heat bench weak even though role players performed extremely well throughout the playoffs is that nobody other than Norris can create his own shot consistently. The Heat will need a player who can come off the bench and average 9-12 points, while also being able to create his own shot.

And he made a scene by publicly voicing his opinion about not getting any burn. So what happens on the many inevitable nights where he wouldn't even touch the floor in Miami? The last thing this team needs is a has been b*tching about playing time. Pass
