He can dribble into his own shot for one.

He's a way better shooter for two.

and

he's only 19 yo. Youthier.

i dont disagree on needing a pf and a center..but we also need a shooter real bad.

hey i would be ok with ross and sullinger in this draft and then get a block shot athletic center later

He's a chucker! Anyone on our team can take those shots! I know he probably throws down a hell of a dunk in the gym but Terrence Ross wont be doing that in the NBA on a nightly basis.. Oh and yeah...He's only 19 which means he's physically a long way from maturing. Soon 20 will be too old to be drafted! You guys will be like "nah man, he's 20 years old!...Too old for me"

Ross is 21. He's much better than carney. Hes a great athlete and can stroke the ball with the best in this draft. I think he can be a jrich or jr smith + defense type wing.

That being said , I'm all in for sullinger @ 15. He's beyond worth the risk.

Here is how it shakes out. If Sixers make the Josh Smith trade, they are trying to compete now. And I can't say it won't work. If they offer a max to McGee, they could be looking like Jrue/Ross/ET/Smith/McGee with Meeks/Marvin/Lavoy/Vuc off the bench. That is a lineup that would've beat Boston in 5 and competed to 7 games with Miami. McGee vs Bosh. Jrue vs Wade. ET/Ross/Smith/Williams all combining to defend James. You never know. But replacing Brand Hawes and Iggy with Ross Smith and McGee works for me.

If they trade Iggy for a pick to get Henson (sounds more unlikely by the minute), they are rebuilding. And I'd expect to keep Brand at that point, using his expiring deal as trade bait or Free agency in 2013. Jrue/Ross/Turner/Henson and a 2013 max free agent plus lottery pick ain't bad either if you are rebuilding.

Either way, i think they need to make the decision of which direction to go and trade Iggy in one of the above scenarios. I'd be happy with either of those 2 lineups next year.

Edit: The more I think about it, the first lineup would have swept Boston. McGee and Smith over Brand/Hawes??? And a pure shooter instead of Iggy? I mean, Iggy did a lot in that series, but Pierce still blew up offensively. The big difference is at PF/C though. Those 2 make the Sixers legit. And they are still young at 24 and 26. Turner is 24 in October. Jrue 22 in June. Ross 21. The average age of the starters is 23. Williams is 26, Lavoy 23, Vucevic 22 and Meeks 25. That keeps the team average at 23 years old. It's a team that can compete now, yet is still young and can grow together. Length and athleticism at PF/C. Defense is very good all around in the starting lineup. Size is nice at 6'4, 6'6, 6'7, 6'9, and 7'0. The more I'm analyzing this, the more I want it to happen. I actually think all things considered, if the Sixers were aggressive in trading a few spots up with future picks to get Ross and aggressive in offering a max to McGee and courting him, I would like to see this happen. Of course, all I've been thinking about today and for the past week is the Sixers and stuff, so I could just be delirious right now.

BREAKING NEWS!!

Sources say the Sixers plan to draft Evan Fournier

They expect to leave him in France for 2-3 years and at that point they think he will be NBA ready. They see some Manu potential in him.

I don't want Josh Smith or Marvin Williams anywhere near jrue and Turner.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
