C - Andre Drummond
PF - Perry Jones

Those two can battle it out to see who will give least amount of effort each game.

To be fair Perry at least knows he has to try harder...

his issue is that he is kinda soft and isn't as great of a shooter as most people say he is.

Well, for all we know, his agent did a good coaching him.

Agent: Now Perry, when they ask you the question about your motor what are you going to say?

Perry: The motor in my car?

Agent: No, they fact that you are lazy on the court.

Perry: I'm lazy? I told you...coach just misused me at Baylor

Agent: Yes Perry, please stop saying that...you aren't helping your plummeting draft stock by calling out your coaches as the problem!

WHY ON EARTH DO YOU WANT TO DRAFT A CENTER WITH A STANDING REACH THE SAME HEIGHT AS EVAN TURNER@!?!?!!?!?!

DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT GUY HAS ANY CHANCE AT DOING SOMETHING IN THE NBA???

btw.... zeller had ONE GOOD REBOUNDING SEASON IN 4 YEARS... the 3 years before that he was PITIFUL

dear god... there are players out there that with the right coaching, motivation, and teaching, can be star level talents for years to come..... but nope... cant take a guy with a question mark but we can damn sure take a center with the standing reach the size of a midget

Amal McCaskill. That was one of my favorites. Right up with Charles Shackleford

My favorite might have to be Steven Hunter, who I seem to remember them signing, then trying to trade forever.

Are they contagious?

Could be , they don't have the best intangibles.Marvin is a underachiever and Josh isn't team friendly.

Negrodamus wrote:Krazy, I probably agree with whoever you're talking about with the standing reach, but I have to say that you probably put too much stock into the measurable side of things in the combine.

dude i definately agree some things measured out mean nothing... but when we are talking about a center who's standing reach is the same or shorter than our guards and small forwards... do u really think that is not a huge negative?

i mean i wouldnt touch a center with that short of a reach with a 10 foot pole

as a junior, vucevic put up better numbers than zeller, and has better measureables but a bit less athletic

why do we want a guy who is probably a step down from vucevic when most of us are fine with vucevic as a backup?

For those interested this item is a real collectors item:

Not sure what game it was worn in (or how that is even possible) but there you are.

I think we will keep 15 but will acquire another pick for Iguodala and move up. Look out for Toronto, Golden State, Bobcats is a stretch , Houston possibly.

lol, one bid?

also- I don't mind the rumored Iguodala deal, but I'd prefer to get a first round pick back as well. Not a huge fan of Thad's contract, so at least there's that. I'd rather do that Iguodala deal then have Iggy back next year and that's coming from someone who thinks Iguodala is under-appreciated in Philly.
