Yep.

That and Jennings can dribble four times in a row without turning it over.

Monta doesn't get 4 dribbles before tries to drive to the basket is the problem. In which case he dribbles it over his head and hope nobody notices the next 100 times he does it in the game.

Ok then... ummm.. who is your 2nd favorite team? How about we trade him there so you can all watch him be wonderful and everyone can still be a little bit happy : )

I don't think me and paul are arguing we love Jennings, but he's the lesser of 2 evils in this case. I could name 20 point guards I'd probably rather have.

Some may say, but really I just hate Jennings. Almost made me throw my remote through the TV like 50 times over the past two years.

I can actually say I don't understand that at all lol.

I'm not a massive Jennings guy, my point was wanting Monta to be our PG is laughable. Guy would have the worst PG handle in the league by about 50% - among other gross deficiencies specific to PG play.

Baddy and Luke secretly love Jennings because he's the best tank driver in the East : )

If he was the best tank driver in the East our record would actually indicate it. Since it doesn't, he's not. Ellis was pretty awesome helping us beat that one playoff team of about 10 we played after we traded for him.

I easily think you win more games with Jennings at point guard then Monta so no, that's not the case. Monta just isn't a point guard.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I think if Monta worked on his handle a little he'd be a beast at PG. His vision is amazing, he's a confident finisher at the rim (Jennings is too now), he draws contact (instead of Jennings who cowers from it), and he has the physical tools to embrace the job.

Now as a SG I see plenty of deficiencies and if that's the plan I say trade his a** right now. He's too small, can't defend them very well, and he can't.. well umm... shoot good enough from deep and that should be a requirement for "shooting" guard, right?

I don't know if we're talking about the same player if you think Monta's vision is "amazing".

Guys don't just develop a PG quality handle after like 7 years in the nba.

Uh huh.. and you probably can't admit that he passes better off of the pick and roll, right (considering Jennings can't at all)

I think he just means he has 20/10 vision. No glasses or contacts for Monta.

Both guys may be me-first chuckers, but Monta is better at me-first chucking than Brandon is.
Monta's much much much better at creating a reasonable shot for himself, and much better at getting to the line. He gets to the basket effectively, he can create space and square up for a quality jumper.
Also, I sorta disagree that Monta's a finished product- he's shown improvement in his passing lately. Still waiting for Brandon to become a guy who can do something other than either:
-pass off on the 3-point line
-fade a long range jumper/3
-penetrate and float a low-percentage shot.

I'd love to see Brandon make better decisions and capitalize on his skill-set. He hasn't yet, IMO.

That being said, I do not advocate extending Monta, but to say the only difference between the two is that BJ can improve and Monta can't doesn't seem at all accurate to me.

Edited it for some extra hilarity.

Ironic since it is actually the year of the dragon. You must be $toked 24/7.
