Don't worry I don't think even the Suns are stupid enough to draft Marshall at #13.

If they passed on Lamb and drafted Marshall instead, Phoenix would over take Charlotte for being the laughing stock of the NBA next season.

Suns like Moultrie but not over Marshall or Lamb plus they took a power forward last year in Markieff Morris so I don't see that happening

If we draft Marshall instead of Lamb....good god.

Just noticed that Jeremy Lamb has been compared to Reggie Miller on nbadraft.net.

Wow!

I am okay with Lamb. I am okay with Marshall but not at 13. If we take Marshall 13 I am only fine with it if we get a later pick and add more talent.

If the news about PJIII knee is right. I'd love to watch him drop and get him with a late 1rst.

If the Celys are looking to move up... I'd strongly consider their 2 for our 1, especially if the few targeted boys are gone. If Gambone is right with his tidbitting, about Marshall... we should trade, and pick him with #21.

13 isnt going to get us a difference maker really... and likely has the same chances of success as later picks...Might as well get two and improve your odds.

Ainge wants someone, and it looks like a few others may as well. Are they still on RWhite ?

Right now, I'm just hoping we can snag a couple of seconds... I'd really like to get that toughguy Crowder. In fact I hope we draft nothing but nasty dispositions.

I think if Lamb or Rivers is there at #13, then you keep the pick and draft one.

If not, then trade with Boston.

I really don't think anyone we are high on will still be there at 21...I'm telling you guys Marshall is the 2nd best PG in this draft and will be gone by 15. If we trade down our choices would be Fab Melo, Jared Sullinger, or MAYBE Royce White but I think he'll be gone by 18. We would all regret it if we traded down to 21 & 22. If they're stupid enough to include Rondo and their picks for #13 and 2 players of their choice then I say screw it and take it, but that will NEVER happen. I wouldn't be opposed to trading with Houston to go a couple spots down but not all the way to 21-22.

Also Zeller is not getting any credit, but he's the 2nd best center in the draft behind Drummond, and Drummond is only the best because he's 18 and a 280lb ball of clay that with the right training could be molded into the next Amar'e Stoudemire but with better defense and 2 good eyes.

Agree, unless someone in the top 10 falls.

Since we haven't made the trade already with Boston, we are still waiting to see who is there.

I'll be fine with Lamb if that is our pick. And I would be fine with both of Boston's picks, as long as we address some needs.

Well seven hours til the big crapshoot! :D

@JMac1 (didn't want to quote the whole post and derail this thread even more)

I was mostly joking about the communism thing haha :D Besides that a) I'm only a permanent resident so I can't vote HA! b) The revolutionary war didn't happen... (I wasn't taught it in school, you have to take an elective - American History - to actually learn about it)

On topic: hoping for Lamb & Q. Miller

I don't post much but everyone hoping Lamb falls to us at #13 will be dissapointed. Every year there are players that are predicted to drop but never do because of the smokescreens, for example who thought Clay Thompson was going in the Lottery last year or Tristan Tompson that high? Lamb was projected top 5 pick last year, teams remember that, don't be surprised if he goes top 7 if anything I believe rivers drops which I do not like at all.

And F*** Ross if he didn't even want to work out for us.

My view: Pick Lamb if there. If not, then trade down (Boston?).

Well hopefully everyone says f*** Waiters if he didn't want to work out for us and he falls to us. I know, unlikely.

I really hope we take Lamb or even Ross (despite not working out for us) if they are at 13. I really don't want Marshall.

If all the shooting guards are gone at 13, I hope they do flip the pick to Boston for 21&22 and take the two best players available.

If we DO take Marshall, we must have a plan to go after a shooting guard in free agency. I'd take Brandon Rush over Mayo or Crawford..much better shooter and probably cheaper too.

That's not a bad idea, but in such a deep draft I'd want a second too.
Crowder would be a great pickup and I'd love to see White here.

Funny, eery year i fall in love with several players and want us to get them all. And we never do - when will I learn.

i just don't want to spend another draft night in front of the tv drunk, envious, and muttering obscentities
