Jennings is nowhere near those other three, it is laughable to even say that.

Cause the lemmings saw Chad Ford rank him 10 overall.
Hes just a bit better than his teammate Darius Miller who is a 2nd rounder.

yeah Ross will be the pick if hes there, which I would say is 25% or so.
I think Leonard will end up being the pick, but i want PJ3, hopefull we can trade down again and get 2 = players like White/Moultrie or something.

Just complete nonsense. Terrence Jones and Darius Miller are nothing alike talent-wise or any other way.

That's like your opinion, man. :)

But obviously why I compensated by putting Muhammad with him who could be as good/better than Kyrie.

Kyrie (on FB) keeps talking about Beal as their new player. Yeah it's the Kyrie fan page, but it's what I expect. I could see Barnes as well if Beal isn't attainable.

agreed, Beal may end up being the next Bayless/Wagner.
Muhamad may be the next Kobe.

Is Irving/Bayless better than Jennings/Bryant?

Speaking of laughable, two of those guys have yet to play a minute of NBA basketball.

And Jennings is the next what?? He has done nothing to put himself in the company of elite prospects.

My point was we need more than Ross at SG and the 2013 draft has both Muhammad and Goodwin who are as good/better than any of the SGs in the 2012 draft. Therefore split the #14 and fill out the roster with solid players on affordable contracts.

I agree. Anybody who would want Jennings over Irving should be strung up. :D

You guys overrate the hell out of shabazz Muhammad. He's a power wing who doesn't really have a handle. Much more in common with a guy like Jerry stackhouse.

Only thing laughable right now is Zeller being #1 on the big board. After what McKinney said I have to believe that's pure speculation on Fords part. That just can not be true

We'll see. I'd rather see what he does at UCLA before making final determinations on him. From all accounts he's working hard on improving his game and will likely be a strong player in the NBA. I'd bet he's a better NBA player than Ross is.

Those lists are created by Ford, based on info he collects and sources. It is entirely possible that a team will leak a player's name to create some uncertainty or not be completely forthright with their draft order. :)

Really going out on a limb there. Predicting a guy projected to be drafted in the top 3 will be better than a guy projected to be drafted 10-15.

I'd be fine with Henson at #14. That is a value pick there. To be honest, he's a guy I'm surprised keeps holding in the top ten in these mocks.

Lippo,

I'm not interested in debating who was better last year at Kentucky (even though Jones clearly was better). What I'm interested in is who's going to be the better pro. If you believe Darius Miller is anywhere close to the prospect Terrence Jones is, we'll have to agree to disagree. You will be the only person around to hold that belief IMO. You also left out the age factor. Jones is 2 years younger than Miller, which is a huge deal.

Also, WRT PJ3, I was never hoping he'd slip to 12. I wouldn't take him at 42. No heart or motor whatsoever. One of the laziest, most disinterested players I've ever seen.

If we are letting Ersan walk our PF spot could really be a huge weakness.

In that way -- sure -- if Henson or whoever might crack the rotation and take some minutes from Gooden, then I'm all for that kind of pick at #14.

Well...unless it means we're going to go sign Jamal Crawford to some stupid deal so we have a backup 2.

We know it'll take a lot to steal minutes from Skiles' favorite child though, hopefully a way is figured out.

Henson makes no sense. At some point, it becomes counterproductive to keep drafting the same types of players. You can't play them all together. Even long-term, we have Moute, Sanders, and Udoh currently. We don't need another long defender that has nothing but rudimentary offensive skill.

Ford justifies taking Jones to replace Ilyasova. I could see that I guess.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
