Dwight Howard’s departure from the Orlando Magic seems inevitable, with sources close to the situation characterizing the relationship between the superstar and the organization as irreparable. Sources say Howard no longer wants to be in Orlando and he won’t give the franchise the long-term commitment they’re seeking this summer. Howard hopes to be traded and he has been exploring all of his options in recent days.

Rob Hennigan, who was hired as Orlando’s new general manager last week, wants to salvage the relationship with Howard, but the damage may already be done. Howard seems ready to move on, with the Brooklyn Nets atop his list of preferred destinations. Howard has long coveted a trade to Brooklyn, where he would team up with Deron Williams, but sources close to the situation say that the Nets don’t have the trade assets to acquire Howard.

I'd rather believe YBR on this. We'll see what happens.

The WatchESPN app says it will have it.

If not you can probably find it on firstrowsports.eu

Not when it comes to the draft or draft trades, he has no insight with the front office nor do most reporters.

I think Liggins can be a starter in this league. He is a solid defensive player who is athletic in taking the ball to the hoop. Plus, he gotz handles. Dude is going to surprise people.

One of the few things BMP and I agree with. I've been saying it for months now. Liggit can at the very least compete for the starting sf spot. He alternates his defense when guarding people very well. he attacks the rim and his jumper can improve.

All we need is one good rumor and we'll be on the next thread just in time for the draft.

Question

Chris Proctor ‏@cpro28
@OMagicDaily So the Magic HAVE to make a first round pick or the HAVE to pick @ 19? Can they trade down or up in 1st rd?

Answer

Orlando Magic Daily ‏@OMagicDaily
@cpro28 They can trade for an earlier pick. They just have to make a 1st round selection this year. Can trade draft rights after making pick

So as I see it we can still package something like J-rich and #19 for a later first round pick. Do you think that is plausible?

I really hope we don't turn around and trade the player we pick tonight. I want some youth with upside for a damn change.

DWill is such an instigator... I remember he wanted to make his dinner with Howard more than it was last season, but Dwight didn't want to play along.
