Dwyane Wade will be an MVP candidate next season

Post#1 » by WadeInTheWater » Thu Jun 28, 2012 8:01 pm

You heard it here first. There was nothing better than for Wade to miss the Olympics, plain and simple.

He now gets to have career prolonging surgery then get the rest of his body 100% healthy while rehabing. He can then spend all the time he wants with his sons over the summer relaxing and then he can come back and get his jumper going in summer camp along with other aspects of his game that he can fine tune.

Come the start of the season not only will he be in the perfect frame of mind knowing that his kids are his kids, he will be perfect physically and that is a very scary thing because we know when this man is at the top of his game he can be as good if not better than LeBron.

Get well soon Flash.

I agree 100%. If Wade can get back to the Wade of last season, lock up the next two championships.

He will definitely be a candidate. Plus, not having to go through a condensed season will be great for him again. I expect 25/5/5 with 2 steals and 1.5 blks on 51% FG next season.

I think surgery will do him the world of good. It's clear his knee was why he struggled at times

He looked awesome at the start of this past season (anyone remember that Dallas game? Talk about being taken out back).

Especially this. The condensed season wore him out and made him more susceptible to injury.

I hope LeBron encourages him to go for it next year. an MVP followed by another title would be icing on the cake!

Only problem about the MVP thing is that the media "values" LeBron more than Wade on this team. Most likely LeBron's numbers will be better than Wade's so that goes against Wade.

Anyways I could care less about MVPs, just keep winning championships.

I doubt Wade plays enough minutes next year to be an MVP candidate, especially if Allen joins the Heat.

Should be playing Wade about 29 minutes per game and Allen about 23 minutes per game at the SG spot to help prolong Wade's career.

He won't win an MVP in his career as long as LeBron is in the game, that's a lock. But whatever, win the rings.

I hope Wade doesn't have an MVP type season. That would mean Lebron had a big injury.

I hope he makes the top 5 though

Same here bro. i just dont see Wade getting that over Lebron. Lebron would always be the team leader assist, points, and maybe rebounds. And if Wade had that same type of season, they would cancel each other out and the MVP will go to Kevin durant.
