Yeah.

If that is the deal I would be curious to know if SAC would have rather had Jennings or Lowry...

From what I've heard, it's Lowry, #12, and one of the other two 1st round picks for #5. I'd take that over anything we can offer in a heart beat.

Yeah.

Bucks should make a counter offer of Monta + #14. Maybe Monta has more perceived value than Lowry.

I'd be interesting in the methodology behind quantifying job security. I assume contract length has a lot to do with it, but how do you account for the fact that a guy going into the last year of his contract is really FAR less secure than a guy going into the 2nd to last year?

If we draft a Terrence I hope it is Ross.
If we draft a Jones I hope it is Perry.

Doubt it but I think Jennings/12/future first would've gotten the 5th pick if it ends up being Lowry/12/other first(s).

I'd offer Jennings/14/future first now and see if the Kings like it more.

Yeah. I think the Kings would strongly consider that.

Downside is you're moving Ellis to PG but I'll take the 5th pick and worry about that problem later.

Who are you drafting at 5? Barnes? I would have to think about it. Brandon + 14 for 5 is fine and so is Brandon + future 1st, but I don't like trading two first rounders with Brandon.

The Rockets appear ready to do that with Lowry and you can argue Lowry's a little better. At worst it's probably a wash.

I'd offer Ellis first but if they passed and wanted Jennings I'd pull the trigger. I'd then take MKG or Barnes whoever was still on the board.

Hold on a sec. You'd trade Jennings, 14, and a future first for the 5th overall in this draft? What kind of drugs are you on? I'm not sure id trade Jennings for the 5th overall! Lol

If we draft a Jones I hope it is Kevin in the second round (I really don't want Kevin Jones just wanted to stay within the theme).

Same drugs Morey's on. He's a pretty sharp guy. I'm fine siding with him. :)

more like what kind of drugs are you on....14th isn't much, Jennings isn't a star and this franchise is in dire need of a star, I think one can be had at #5

So the deal is supposedly Lowry + #12 + future first for #5?

Again, I would have to think about it, but I don't know if I would do that.

Also, Houston has more reason to trade Lowry than the Bucks do Brandon. They still have Dragic.

BTW - Ric Bucher was on TV and said that the Houston deal with Sacramento looks dead now. Take that for what it's worth. Maybe Bucks can trade for #5 now.

So some of you would rather have the 5th overall pick where we might get a bust of Drummond than bj, t Ross, and another promising rookie in next years draft? What!!! I thought this board was a bit more educated.

Rockets are going to flip the pick to Orlando for Howard.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
