How is his rebounding a big concern? 6 rebounds per game in Euroleague is really good.

Look at Scola's and Pekovic's rebounding numbers in the Euroleague. It's way harder to rebound in the Euroleague than it is in the NBA. 6 rebounds a game in Euroleague is quite good.

Also, he's about 6-9 255 - 260. I don't consider that undersized for an NBA power forward. Not when the NBA is stacked full of 6-7 and 6-8 power forwards.

Completely agree

How about Orlando Rashard Lewis, once he made the full time switch to power forward?

I have high hopes for this guy. Hoping he can start at PF since were probably gonna let Kris Humphries leave.

Him and Brook would probably be a defensive disaster.

I'm holding out hope we land one of Nene, Pau or Josh Smith, as much of a long shot most of that is, then have Tele off the bench playing 25mpg +, just hopefully little of that with him and Brook simultaneously.

I don't want to overpay Nene or Pau Gasol just so we can be a treadmill team. I'd rather hold out our flexibility for the Dwight sweepstakes or for other players who can make the team great.

But yeah our front court's defense would probably by abysmal.

Yeah I'm basically going off the assumption that Dwight is completely off the table.

Not saying I believe he is, just in the above scenarios above that's the context I was thinking.

Although Josh Smith for peanuts(cause that's all we got) is a must do if it presents itself, he has to be more valuable then the quantity of quality stuff we can throw together for Dwight outside of Brook.

Im still convinced all our free agent signings will be made to fit into a system of D Will and Howard because that is exactly where Teletovic will excel.

In a way Im glad the Bucks cleared a lot of cap with the trade of the 12th pick because now they are clear favourites to keep hold of IIyasova who, while I think is a good player, is in danger of being vastly overpaid.

I could see us signing the likes of Teletovic, AK47, Green, Wallace etc and then after all is said and done take someone like Brand off Phily for a pick to say them paying $18m, could even S&T Hump to them for Brand and a pick to give them a good replacement and a saving of $18m.

Point is I can see a scenario where we tool up while keeping flexability for Howard by keeping around $12m in cap space with the option of trading someone at the deadline or July next season to bring in Howard as a free agent, in other words as a threat. Also apparently its looking like Farmar could very well opt out of his contract as well so that frees up another $4m in cap.

The way its looking, so long as we get D Will re-signed, we have to be in with a good chance in the Howard sweepstakes.

Im not even going to count the trades that will happen on draft night so, this is the possible lineup as of now that could work for us next season:

Williams / Kidd
Green / Brooks
Wallace / AK47
Brand / Teletovic
Lopez / Vet Min

Take brooks out stick morrow in, Petro out or whatever because their will be moves at the draft by us. But we can have a competitive team next season that will do well in the East while keeping cap flexability for Howard.

Teletovic next to Howard would be deadly

Teletovic next to Howard and Deron running the pnr would be deadly. But...that's far too much assumption at this point.

How can you argue about something you don't know? bad rebounder? lol he was sixth rebounder in the second best league in the world, and third scorer last season.Who else had that "backup" before entering the NBA!? and there are no player, in europe top leagues, that records double-double in pts- rebs in the end of season, because we play here 40 minutes instead of 48, and there are no def. 3 seconds so you can literally forget about offensive rebounds unlless you are 210 cm or taller , or some kind of griffinn-like beast.
About the defence, any player could learn to play defence easier than improving his shooting abilities, (that Mirza has), ask Ron Artest, lol
MIrza will become the best current Nets player before 2013.All-star, after D-Will of course, you can be sure for that
Only thing that should concern is his slowness when runs the floor with the ball, but he is perfect in running off the screen, and he can play low-post game very well, with his back-side to the rim (don't know how to express myself)

Hey Mirza! Please sign with us at the end of free agency. There are other players I want this team to sign before you. Thanks!
