yea but i can't root against a kid just because the cavs gm is incompetent :D

supposedly cavs are trying to trade av/24 for barnes. i dunno why golden state would do that bc they desperately need a sf.

i would've preferred to see them take barnes at #4 and then trade for drummond at #7 tho.

If they trade Andy and 24 for Barnes, I hope Waiters can play C too. Add that to my earlier list.

I hope you are right though, I hope he is capable of playing good D, I hope he wants to play good D, I hope he doesnt need the ball to be effective, I hope he doesnt need 20 shots to score 20 points, I hope he isnt redundant with Kyrie. I hope that Grant is right and I am wrong, I hope that those of us here who are pissed are eating our words this coming season.

This. There's just too many obvious factors going against Waiters.

What about the level that says he's redundent with Kyrie, and too small to start at SG?

In Grant's defense, you can't win championships without quality depth....and we just got some, so we're that much closer.

(You can ignore the stupid "best case scenario Rodney Stuckey", they also had him projected picked at 17th)

How is he redundant with Kyrie when he is a two guard and not a PG? He can handle the ball and dish the rock in addition to his shooting, those are skills that will benefit the team, not something to be worried about. He hasn't shown any problems with playing off the ball.

The worst thing, and the one that annoys me the most, is his body and his willingness to get beter. I hate the fact that he's fat. I think it says a lot about him and his character..
With that being said, I don't think he's going to be the best player he could be, What a waist of a 4th pick.

6'3" SGs are not successful in this league, period. Especially when paired with another player in the backcourt who is about the same height.

I like the part where someone starts laughing out loud when Boeheim says he's going to be a tremendous player at the next level.

Really? He's about the same size as Dwayne Wade and Mitch Richmond, two of the best shooting guards ever. Anyways, I'm out of here, going to check out realcavsfans, have fun ripping the guy too shreds.

Really? I guess it would moving Andy more palatable if it were to happen. I kind of like Zeller though.

So you think Waiters can become as good as Wade? Lay off the crack pipe. There's a much greater chance he doesn't become half the player Wade is.
