I forgot to add minutes played into the template. I'm assuming with the numbers you posted, you're thinking around 28-30mpg?

Pretty much. I like him alot but it should take at least 1 year for him to develop into something more than an efficient player to a straight out baller. The best thing is how much better this makes Wall.

I agree with the 28-30 minutes/game. I expect his rookie year to look a lot like Harden, with less impressive 3 point and FT shooting, but better 2 PT shooting(Harden was unimpressive in that area as a rookie).

Base statistics

Points per game: 12.5
Rebounds per game: 3.0
Assists per game:1.5
Steals per game:1.0
Field goal percentage:43
Three point percentage:35
Free throw percentage:76

Food for thought;

What Impresses me even more about this kid is he averaged just under a block per game! 9 times he had two or more blocks in a game. And 8 times he had double digit rebounds. Also had a steal in every game bar 4.

Although he didn't score higher than 22 points in a game this year.

I expect Beal to be the ROY. He'll be asked to carry the load scoring wise, I can see 18ppg just because the shots will be there for him.

Assists per game:1.5
Steals per game: 0.7
Field goal percentage: .44
Three point percentage: .38

I think he'll only play about 22 minutes a game so I'm not expecting too much. He's just a 19-year-old rookie.

I think he'll be much better in his second season. Remember, Harden didn't really make an impact until his 2nd year, and didn't emerge as a borderline star until his 3rd. And Harden had 2 years of college.

Yes. Everyone, please keep your rookie expectations for BB3 (?) under control.

Just for a little, non-scientific comparison, here's a look at Kobe, Harden, Paul George, Monta Ellis, Joe Johnson, Eric Gordon as rookies. Kobe was 18, everyone else was 20.

It's going to take some time.

its not just about him but we have alot of guys who can play and will play so I think everyone's natural numbers will be down but the overall team success should be high
