last player to lead the majors in HR 3 straight years?
Bautista looks like he is on track to doing that which would be mighty impressive. I can't imagine more than 3-4 players that have accomplished it (ruth obviously is one). Anyone know who the last guy was?

it has been done about 6 times, most recently:
Harmon Killebrew 62-64
Griffey Jr. 97-99
A-Rod 01-03

I think you're just talking about the AL.
I looked this up the other day. Mike Schmidt was the last guy to lead the majors three straight years. Ralph Kiner did it, Ruth did it, and maybe one guy I'm forgetting.

Ralph Kiner tied for 1st or led MLB in home runs 6 straight years. That is crazy. I will admit I have no idea who that is.

He's Juicing.
(Sorry, get ready for the U.S. Media to have that thinly veiled, but not outright, accusation waiting for him)

They tried that in his first season leading the league. When that didn't pan out, they tried to say the Man in White thing.
