I like the fact that he knows how to dress. Nice suit, nice tie; none of that crazy stuff.

Enjoy our energy guy folks. He will give us thrills, chills, tough D, great energy, bad shots, 12 point games, and plenty of other opportunities in the lottery.

sounds like kemba with tough D

I have to admit I was upset we didn't trade down and add some more assets but I believe in the front office and if they think he is going to the 2nd best player I'm glad we got him. Also adding MKG gives us 4 hustle guys in our starting lineup.

I'm thinking the same thing. I like him much better as a SG than I do a SF.

This is why I compared MKG to D. Wade, They both had the same type of role while in college. Wade was a rebounding, shot blocking, slasher that finished plays strong around the rim, he seemed to be more of a SF or a power guard while in college. MKG does the exact same thing and they both even have the same weakness, the outside jumper. I don't even know if MKG's jumper is really broken either, it just looks ugly.

:o :o :o :o :o :o :o

How much D. Wade did you watch when he was in college? Wade was essentially a point guard in college (not to mention the fact that he had a sweet looking pull up jumper that was unstoppable...not one player in this draft had a go to move like that).

Could you EVER see a scenario in the forseeable future in which MKG plays PG?

Another National Champion. Woohoo! Maybe this guy will be as great as Corey Brewer.

The thought that we may picked MKG while factoring his weaknesses i.e. that he was not the most help available (in terms of wins), so we may just find out that we missed the very jackpot so it is worth to repeat and try again while adding a culture building piece - that all makes it easier to me to swallow it. It may be a good choice although all those good rates we receive from "experts" worries me. But I guess MKG is low risk pick, worst case we just picked a hustler too high and got a shot at comlimenting pick next year (big men heavy and Shabazz). I wonder how mcuh 2 could he eventually play though.

Bazz probably becomes a SF in the NBA though.

Hey Sweed, that was clever...made me laugh..thanks!

It was kinda the color of my mood, especially last night. And ha ha's regarding the overtly literal interpretation of player designations Slam. However, my point is moving hyphen to the 2 will force him to handle the ball further out within the typical flow of the offense

No it wouldn't. Roles aren't assigned based on what ESPN lists you as. You do what the coach says. You must have baby balls.

You don't know that, Washington might have taken him if Cav's picked Beal with the 2nd.

Maybe, but apparently their board was Beal and then Barnes.

and apparently our board was T-Rob and then Barnes.

Also dudes, Shabazz is a SG. Not a SF.

EDIT: Gerald Wallace was top 5 at his position one year. He's just had a lot of injuries and peaked early.

Think with your brain for a minute dude. Set your heart on pause, think about it, and you'll realize that the worst thing the Bobcats could do is get back on the treadmill.

Chad Ford is stating that there was disagreement in the room regarding this pick and it came down to MJ's decision. This makes me even more nervous if Cho wanted someone else. Is MJ ever gonna just get out of the way and be an owner and not a GM?

I was thinking that could be a possibility but the way we keep things under wraps so well and the fact that Ford is a super douche who hates us I don't know if I believe him or not.

Chad Ford is probably blowing it way out of proportion. 3/4 of the teams last night probably had disagreements about who they should select. Not all minds think alike.

Are there any truth to this?! Are there any other writer stating this? I can't trust ford, he often throw bs out there to be relevant.

If true, and Cho's input is disregarded... This franchise is hopeless.

Either way I think we got the pick right.
