I could see him come here for several reasons: Babby is his former agent, we have a great medical staff and he'll have surgery on his ankle, he could play with Steve Nash and most importantly we can offer him the most money other than all these contenders out there.
Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

Re: Woj: Suns "serious contenders" to sign Ray Allen
Hey man!!! Lets say Steve would allow us to pay him 11-13 million dollars for 3 years to come back. And lets say Ray would allow us to overpay him to come to Phx. say atleast what 5-6 mil a year I would guess. Would you really want to watch us start Nash, Ray, Grant, Frye, and Gortat??? Its both old and sad!! Time to move on and bring in atleast young guys, because atleast they have a pass to suck, because they are young and learning. I say we load up on young free-agents and watch them suck and learn rather than old slow boring guys lose while being outplayed. Steve and Gentry have constantly used the words "We dont have the talent to make mistakes or not hustle and still win". Meaning we have sub-par talent and need to both play perfect and at max output to even have a chance in any game. Or get lucky would be a better term.

If Ray comes here we better have an additional move or else this team is a surefire 1st round exit.
I know KG will most likely retire in Boston, but it would be nice Ray could convince him to come as a package deal.
Nash/Marshall/Telfair
Allen/Redd
Hill/Dudley/Chilly
KG/Frye/Markieff/Warrick
Gortat/Lopez
I wonder....

Yes, because when a team drafts a guy #3 overall and then just simply lets him walk as an unrestricted free agent.....that must mean he is an absolute stud..right?
Have you watched him play or looked at his nba numbers (that have gotten progressively worse) or are you just going off his college hype and stuff?

I disagree. Memphis wants to avoid the luxury tax and Mayo doesn't fit in their system. To get Mayo, we would propably have to overpay him which is a clear no-go. I'd rather have Allen at a short-term deal.

If we didn't have to pay out the for him I wouldnt mind OJ. Too bad he never lived up to his lofty expectations.
