Future PG?

Post#1 » by SoCalJazzFan » Fri Jun 29, 2012 8:35 pm

Well, the Jazz right now have a slightly better than average (unless he improves this next season) PG in DHarris, with a 33 yr old back up that just had knee surgery and will probably be near useless next year, and an option on a 34 yr PG. None have a contract beyond this season.

I would imagine that the organization hopes that MoWilliams will come on board for this year, and probably hopes that he produces and can be convinced to stay.

Why? Well, after the rumors of trading DHarris last season and this latest effort to get a PG, you'd have to imagine that any loyalty that DHarris had with the Jazz is gone. If the Mo trade doesn't go through, thank the stars it is a contract year for Harris.

But what would the Jazz do then?

This is the 2013 free agent class:

Not very inspiring on the PG front.

This is the early 2013 draft prediction:

Not very insipiring on the PG front either.

So, if the Mo deal doesn't go through, or he decides not to sign a contract after this next year, I really wonder what the Jazz will do at the point.
